NBA and @HoustonRockets legend Rudy Tomjanovich is making record-setting progress with his health.
We started three months ago, and at 78, he is now chest-pressing 205 pounds, up from 65. He used to struggle to walk a quarter mile at a slow pace without stopping; now he walks two miles at a moderate pace.
I met Yao Ming at @TilmanJFertitta’s home. We talked at length about our mutual friend, former @HoustonRockets coach Rudy T, whom we both deeply respect. We also discussed fitness and adjusting to life in Houston as people from different places—China and Europe. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 225 lbs (102 kg) 😄
R.I.P. Sir Patrick Stewart
One of my childhood heroes was the fictional Captain Jean-Luc Picard, played by actor @SirPatStew. He did such a great job that even now, I sometimes ask myself what Captain Picard would do in a given situation.
He portrayed the character exceptionally well:
•Intellectual and Diplomatic
•Strict Moral Compass
•Deeply Cultured
•Private and Reserved
•Calculated Strategist
•Empathetic Mentor
•Unyielding Resilience
•Commanding Presence
•Emotional Isolation
•Deep-Seated Trauma

I was proud to honor KSBJ radio for its outstanding support and commitment to promoting health and wellness throughout Greater Houston. They gave me a platform to motivate millions of people each week, and their support was genuine and sincere. Together, we make a difference!
Training youth in Texas schools has always been my priority. Helping them adopt a healthy lifestyle is my patriotic duty. Spreading a healthy lifestyle, not hatred!
Training with Houston’s homeless population. Mental health is a vital part of overall health and fitness. Without guidance from mental health professionals and access to necessary medication, vulnerable people suffer.
