In a free country, you are entitled to believe you are a woman with a penis. But not to take it into a female changing room, nor to cheat your way into a female athletic competition, nor in any way to impose your private delusion on the rest of us. theguardian.com/politics/202…

Just seen some woman walking down the road wearing her #Reform UK Political Uniform. I didn't like what she said. So I hit her over the head with my walking stick. I said "Boohoo" to her as she started crying. So I kicked her while she was down and told her "Oh come on!" when she threatened to call the police. @RobertJenrick am I doing this right?

Regarding yesterday’s protest in Dover. My view as an ex copper is that the law should be simple. No one can wear a face covering at any form of protest. If you are law abiding then you have nothing to hide. To those on the left condemning it. You are happy for masked crowds to walk the streets calling for Jews to be killed. During the BLM marches ( that turned violent) labour mps including dawn butler used this site to instruct people on how to avoid being identifiable. You can not condone and condemn the same behaviour, Same goes for the right, if it’s wrong for the left to hide their identity then it’s equally wrong for those you agree with to do the same. But to the political class condemning yesterday. This is your fault, no one else’s but yours. You have overseen a very clear 2 tier approach over the last 2 years. So either completely ban all face coverings at any protest or wind your necks in. And before anyone points out there is legislation to allow police to order the removal, this is the problem. It’s not invoked equally and every one knows it.

“When I was the leader of the Reform party I said that MPs would sit for 24 hours a day, 6 days a week in the House of Commons. In the same year I said this I missed 77 votes in a row and was absent for 11 weeks.”

Entrapment isn’t a criminal defence in England, this isn’t America. Also, Entrapment doesn’t apply to committing crimes willingly. This isn’t entrapment, it’s called getting caught.
🚨 NEW: Nigel Farage says he’s “not happy” about the Verbatim and Channel 4 investigation and says Reform have been the victim of “entrapment”

A mistake is when accidentally drive the wrong way down a one way street. Not when you conspire knowingly to break electoral law. That's called something else, Tim. Not for the first time I note how morally elastic some of you public proselytisers are.
James Orr, @jtworr, made a mistake, and knowing him, he’ll be mortified. But nothing was done for personal gain. He’s a superb academic, too insightful & valuable to be written off over this. I hope he’ll find a way back. As ever: “kids, don’t do politics!”

The most interesting part of this report is James Orr admitting on camera that there's very little financial support for Reform coming from the UK. The vast majority of their donations come from abroad. Foreign money trying to destroy UK democracy with Farage as the vessel.

I, Kevin Rowland (the son of Irish immigrants) and the main songwriter of ‘Come On Eileen,’ am disgusted to learn that Nigel Farage has used our song to make his entrance for his party conference. Myself, and all of Dexys are passionately against Farage’s politics. @ByDonkeys .

In 1988 Dolly Parton pulled every 7th and 8th grader in Sevier County into a room and told them to pick a buddy. She made them sign a contract.. if BOTH graduate, she hands you both $500. One fails, nobody gets paid. The county dropout rate went from 35% to 6%. She handed out the checks herself. In 1989 she offered $500 to every kid in the county who wanted to go to the local college. When Gatlinburg burned in 2016, she sent 900 families $1,000 a month for six months. You've probably heard that part. Here's the part you haven't: The fund raised more than expected, so she showed up in May and handed every one of those families another $5,000 on top. Then she quietly put $3 million into the recovery group that handles the years after the news trucks leave. She built her county an entire hospital. She played a benefit concert in 2007, Dollywood and the Stampede matched it, and LeConte Medical Center opened in 2010 with a birthing unit and a women's center in it. In 2022 she started covering 100% of tuition, books, and fees for Dollywood employees. Full-time, part-time, AND seasonal. In 1991 she paid for a bald eagle sanctuary because the birds couldn't be released back into the wild, no press release. And when Hurricane Helene came through here in Western North Carolina, she wrote a personal check for $1 million and her companies matched it. She didn't owe North Carolina anything, but she helped us anyway. She started the Imagination Library because her daddy couldn't read or write. Before he passed, he told her it was the most important thing she ever did. Rest in Peace, Dolly 🇺🇸
