...the true magic of usable, lovable software lies in your curiosity to change the very defaults that you are comfortable with.

Do you like to customize your apps and tools to suit your needs or do you mostly stick to the defaults?

How do Python devs deal with this?
This thread summarizes the issue perfectly: stackoverflow.com/a/41573588
8 tangled things instead of 1 thing that always works. 😔
Created a MCP server for @ClashofClans. Check out the source code if you'd like to contribute: github.com/Saunved/mcp-serve…
Never thought I'd feel this way, but after dipping my toes in the Python package ecosystem over the last week, and having to manually resolve deps for most cloned projects, I'm grateful that package.json exists in the JS ecosystem.
I've seen some Python projects with a pyproject.toml or requirements.txt, but it doesn't seem to be a "standard" or hard requirement. Unopinionated isn't always good, especially with something so fundamental.
Classic example, very popular project, proper requirements.txt. The sheer amount of finagling one has to do:

Yesterday, when the #UAE was celebrating #EmiratiWomenDay, my sister was crying in my arms in a hotel room in Abu Dhabi after a series of events.
Whenever I travel even 2km in the city, my watch indicates I've reached my "floors climbed" goal.
Sincere request to not remove any potholes so citizens like me can continue staying fit.
You're doing a great job, thank you @PMCPune 🙂

Tried out Neovim recently for a project. It was a lot of fun, and I got to learn many new things. I'll be sticking to VSCode for now, but hope to come back to Neovim every now and then.
Here's the full experience:

Neovim was a wonderful experience for learning a completely new code editor. I think in the long run, it would make code navigation faster for me, but I don't think it would be that much faster compared to my existing VSCode setup.
While talking to @GooglePlay support (following up on an unresolved issue for 2 weeks which was closed abruptly), I felt something was off.
I don't even want to get into all the things that are wrong about this experience.
I just want a solution.
Oh and I actually have a "Platinum" profile, something they promise "Premium" support for.
@GooglePlay I'm truly disappointed.
This is the issue I am dealing with:

I've tried everything suggested here as well as on various Reddit posts and YouTube channel.
This is a problem from @GooglePlay's end and needs to be fixed by them.
