Yes, notice the use of the idea of "sustainablity" as meaning whatever you want it to mean. House building is sustainable but open space is not? Smoke and mirrors planning.

We need to talk about Oldham
Once ranked the second worst council in Britain, where the Government’s own AUDIT COMMISSION described Oldham as ‘ungovernable’, Oldham is increasingly looking like a town run by the Mafia.

How many #emptyhomes are there where you live?
Last week @mhclg published empty homes statistics for every council in England. These showed a third consecutive annual rise to 226,000 (up 10,000 on 2018). Data for every council plus regional summaries here: actiononemptyhomes.org/facts…

Yep. So we need to fix a broken planning system. The current one is easily exploited by developers whose only interest is in making lots of delicious wonga.

The Valley at Knowls Lane would be a tremendous place to expand upon its natural beauty and wildlife habitat. The natural water falls, streams, fauna makes it one of the most loved and cherished in the ward of Saddleworth West Lees, Grotton and Springhead. Loved by all. ♥️♥️♥️

Well, this is what we were hoping for! £300,000 combined for Enzo Homes & Fiorenzo Sauro, & £120,000 for Arwyn Morgan, who felled the tree & 70 others in an area of ancient woodland. This is a massive fine. Well done Swansea Council. Possibly an appeal!

The scandal of the UK losing Greenbelt, Countryside, wildlife habitat as a result of Councils planning decisions being led by “party political benefit”, has got to stop!

Lovely late summer sunset over our protected but at risk trees. Soon this field will be filled with homes crammed tight up to the trees boundary. Mine workings mean drilling is planned. Decisions were made on flawed info but nobody wanted to listen or verify it #nofilterneeded
