A friendly reminder that the stock market doesnβt care about your politics.
Hey everyone,
If you are reading this, that means TaPlot has unfortunately passed away.
I am his oldest son, and I want to take a minute to sincerely thank every one of you that supported him throughout this fight, you helped him keep his motivation, but you also helped me a lot. When I was feeling worried about him, I would often go to his page and read all the supportive comments, and they would give us both so much hope.
He was a great dad, he never stopped fighting, not even in his last week. I sat beside him and told him he could rest and I was proud of him, and he simply shook his head. He still wasn't giving up.
It hurts losing him, because, losing my father means I lost the only man who ever truly wanted me to be better than himself.
I will not be deleting any of his posts, everything will stay here as it was.
There's one more thing I want to leave everyone with.
When my dad died, the cancer died too. It wasn't a loss, it was a tie. He's at peace, and the cancer isn't. So if you really think about it, he won. ποΈ

Put call at 0.73.
Not sure if the masses don't care, are collectively high, or just plain dumb.
The answer to any decline seems to be...buy calls.
Market gods are summoning the Four Horsemen.

Kalshi's latest marketing email, targeting NYC-area small business owners..
βWorried a snowy month will hurt your business? Place a bet on it."
Who out there actually knows a small business that hedges risk on Kalshi? Nobody. This is a gambling app trying to market itself as a financial tool to people who, honestly can't afford to lose. Itβs gross.

To each their own. But personally I find for maximum gains, keep the dices where you can see them - intraday trading is maximum control

Iβm convinced you need a great sense of humor to make it in trading.

This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about βNATO not being there for Americaβ is perfect.
"Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.
You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail.
Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates.
Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you.
And youβve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban in Afghanistan thanked you very much for losing again.
And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth."

The present moment is the only place where you can truly make a difference.
Don't carry yesterday's failures or worry about the unknown.
Focus on what you can control.

Every trader who has studied trading for a year knows what they are suppose to do. So many fail because so few have the discipline and self control to do it.

Trading's strange because there's almost nothing else in life where you can do less and get more reward.
Going to the gym for example takes discipline and consistency, turning up every day and putting in the work. The more you do, the more you get back.
With trading, you're forced at times to do nothing day after day, which is the complete opposite of what we were taught growing up.
And the worst part is it doesn't sell very well for a trading course.
