A queer, woke gen Z faithful with the most clutch moment in Traitors history to help win money for his queer-friendly refugee charity.
And that’s why Bash is the goat.

The #NHS doesn't have money to provide the best possible care in all areas.
Until and unless we are bold enough to say 'we will do a few to the best of our abilities'- and challenge back government on narrative of 'all can be done on present funding envelope'
We will continue to slide into a morass of mediocrity- or even less.
The maths do not math.
And pinning all hopes on AI to close the gap makes that a Hail Mary Pass of epic proportions.
YOU all know it as leaders in @NHSE_WTE @NHSEngland @RCPhysicians @rcgp et al
I can openly say that in #Diabetes care
If you aren't?
You contribute to the continuance of the slide.
Look at the data around outcomes & safety.
The signals are blaring out loud.

Somewhere, in a universe next to ours, a man who looks very much like Patrick Stewart wakes up from a long strange dream and begins playing the flute.

Joanne’s reaction to finding out who the Traitors are might definitely be the best reaction I have ever seen on #Uncloaked 😭😭 #CelebrityTraitors

one of the most underrated episodes of TNG is "lessons", where jean luc falls in love with a woman and opens up about his experience in the inner light and his love of the flute

He’ll never know this but Patrick Stewart showed countless boys how to be men. He showed that strength didn't have to mean intimidation, that intelligence should come with humility, and that you could - and should - stand up for what was right even when it cost you something.

I often always remember this scene of Measure of a Man from TNG, where Picard realises the dire moral implications of the judgement over Data, and the way in which Patrick Stewart portrays the full weight of it.
RIP

Patrick Stewart took a different approach to the Ice Bucket Challenge. Instead of pouring ice water over himself, he quietly wrote a cheque, poured himself a drink over ice and raised a glass. Even his charity work came with impeccable style.
RIP, Sir Patrick Stewart. 🕊️

Never forget Patrick Stewart delivering one of the most iconic Trek moments of all time. THERE ARE. FOUR. LIGHTS.

Picard taught me more about leadership than any MBA could.
He never raised his voice to be heard. He listened before he decided. He let Riker, Data, Worf argue him out of positions, and then owned the call completely. When he was wrong, he said so in front of the crew. When he was right, he didn't gloat.
And when he had to stand alone — against Starfleet, against the Borg, against a Cardassian with four lights — he stood.
That is the whole job. Build people who will tell you the truth, then carry the weight yourself.
Patrick Stewart played it so well that a generation of us mistook a character for a manual. Turns out the manual was fine.
A great actor, and a Yorkshire kid who started as an obituary writer. Today the obituary is his.
Make it so, Sir Patrick. Rest well.
In The Inner Light, Picard lives an entire lifetime in 25 minutes. A wife, children, a home, and a flute he learns to play.
He wakes up back on the Enterprise. All he keeps is the flute.
Probably the best hour of Star Trek ever made. RIP Sir Patrick.

Really reflecting on some of the responses to this.
No patient in this circumstance wants to be ‘special’. It’s actually a massive drain on them and their family. Ideally we’d rock up and just be done with it as soon as possible.
Instead, you turn up to the the next investigation or admission to have another nameless bunch of people tell you you’re wrong. They’re going to be different. You’re making a fuss. They’ll be different to the last one.
And of course they aren’t. The glance up while looking at the floor. The mumbled comment as they leave the room. You holding your person again as they cry.
Please be kind to people who are frightened and dependent upon you for their life. They need you and aren’t out to mess you about. What’s an inconvenience for you is everything to them.
I first started watching Star Trek the Next Generation when it was on BBC two. I was an eight year old recovering from very extensive surgery. I can't pretend I fully comprehended everything about the stories at that age, but I loved it from the very first episode I saw. And Sir Patrick Stewart has had a profound impact on my life as a result of that.
You know when people on here sometimes ask you about the celebrity deaths that really impacted you? I think this is mine.

Captain Picard was such an important part of my growing up. He showed me leaders could be gentle, compassionate, respected and flawed - often all in one episode.
(Currently watching insurrection and raising a cup of Earl Grey. Hot)
