Is this me, quoting Ben Affleck?!?
“I am very lucky in my life in that I have benefited from second chances, and I am aware that other people don’t even get first chances. …Life is difficult, and we are always failing and hopefully learning from those failures.”

Was telling my kid that in the ‘80s the cool kids showed off their followers on their shoes. Friendship pins…

Kid actually showed some interest.
Disgusted is right. @MCHDPIO @AdamsSupervisor
I’m keeping my holiday 💸 in Districts 4 & 1 where @SupervisorAlejo & @supervisoraskew put kids ahead of business and politics.
Why I jumped to get my kids vaxxed & why I am disgusted w @MCHDPIO & supes who suspended😷 order, w cases ⬆️ + kids still not vaxxed. Kids aren’t supposed to be hospitalized either. But in MoCo, 17 have been since Aug.
Masks ⬇️ cases, hospitalizations and death.
My emotional response is sick. Physically sick to my stomach.

The Valley of Fire, Nevada. Hands down one of the luckiest shots I’ve ever got. I’ll never forget this moment.
"It feels like I'm slapping you in the face, Wendy," said Adams, adding that wasn't her intent.
It’s not Wendy you’re slapping in the face @MaryLAdams. It’s all the elementary kids you can’t bother to protect as we charge into winter holidays. Oh yeah, they can’t vote…

It’s so easy to forget to check the rear view mirror. Thanks for a reminder of how far we’ve come.
Curious. What is your particular tree?
“Like most people, I have a particular tree that I remember from my childhood.”

Jahren continues: “It was a blue-tinged spruce (Picea pungens) that stood defiantly green through the long months of bitter winter…it seemed a perfect role model for the stoicism being cultivated in me.”

Republican Don Bacon to NBC on the infrastructure bill: "To say that a bill is right for your district … and something that you helped write, but then you've got to vote against it because you don’t want to give the other side a victory? That is a sign of what's broken."
