How did he have no potential/was there for drama when he himself was the most hesitant of the guards on capturing the avatar and the only one to not use his weapon against her? If you wanted him to be flat and uninteresting then talk to the writers bc they did something different

I think he might have a role like Jet from ATLA, Imagine! in some episode he appears, and other characters ask who it is, then Jae rolls his eyes and in a Katara accent says "that's my ex". Datu already realized that he was wrong, Ellora eventually accepted the Avatar, so...

If this is so…it’s going to be so fricking disappointing. I hate how it appears that he may be falling into the disposable black/brown love interest trope. This will forever be icky to me if he doesn’t have his own subplot and development going on.

It would seem like a complete failure in writing if we never see him again especially since he played a bigger role in the last 4 episodes and the parellels between multiple relationships falling out. Hopefully he gets a redemption arc and we see more of him later

Se sintió tan forzado eso. Cómo para hacer artificialmente que lo detesten y pretenden era mal novio sólo por UN comentario que contradic lo atento que siempre fue con Jae, hasta era el único que percibía cuando Jae andaba sufriendo Datu mostró varias dudas y arrepentimientos

No entiendo por qué la gente se enoja con la separación de Jae y Datu cuando desde el primer instante en el que se vieron juntos se sabía que eso iba a pasar... Además Datu no se merecía a Jae.
