This is new life, new growth, new ways to survive…this is hope for Gaza. chuffed.org/project/113222-t…
The Sameer Project is proud to introduce what we believe is the first aquaponics initiative in Gaza since the genocide began. A revolutionary step toward helping Palestinians feed themselves again.
Gaza’s farmland has been decimated. Its fishing industry destroyed. Fresh vegetables and protein have become a dream, and humanitarian aid alone cannot provide the nutrition families need.
We want to change that!!
Aquaponics combines fish farming and vegetable cultivation in one sustainable, closed-loop system. Fish provide nutrients for the plants, while the plants naturally filter the water that returns to the fish. No farmland or soil required. Minimal water consumption. Fresh fish and vegetables from one system.
This is a pathway toward food sovereignty and self-sufficiency!!
Our team has begun preparing the first phase of this innovative project, with further development to follow.
This is more than growing food. It is rebuilding Gaza’s ability to sustain life. And we should all be behind this! Our mission has never been to create dependency on aid, but to build the conditions where Palestinians no longer need it.
And this is what we mean when we say aid for liberation. From survival to self-sufficiency. Donate to our General Fund to support this one of a kind project.

I can hardly imagine anyone who hasn’t seen this photograph. But it was taken on this day in 2000.
I cannot believe the photo is 26 years old now.
The boy in the photograph was Fares Odeh. He was just 14 years old.
Ten days after this image was captured, Fares went out again to throw stones at Israeli tanks, seeking to avenge the killing of his 17-year-old cousin.
An Israeli sniper shot him in the neck, killing him.
And there is another chilling detail to this photograph.
The photo changed Israeli tank doctrine. In August 2001, The Jerusalem Post quoted an anonymous tank doctrinist saying tank personnel were now instructed to fire upon rock-throwers.

Because of checkpoints and gate closures, daily suffering unfolds for patients and Palestine Red Crescent Society ambulance crews across the West Bank.
This footage from Bethlehem and Hebron captures the grueling ordeal of transferring emergency patients across occupation gates and checkpoints—turning medical transport into a painful journey that threatens lives and obstructs humanitarian duty.

Does he support ending the occupation? No.
Does he call for Palestinian statehood? No.
Does he endorse full equality for all Israeli citizens? No.
Did he call to starve Gaza? Yes.
Did he join Ben Gvir to ban Sami Abu Shehadeh? Yes.
Why is Socialist International endorsing him?
🇬🇧 The Socialist International wishes Yair Golan (@YairGolan1) and our member party, The Democrats (@DemocratsIL), every success in tomorrow's legislative elections in Israel. 🇮🇱
Today is the first heavy rain of the season for us in Bethlehem. Within half an hour of the start of the rain, the roads were flooding. It's not hard to imagine what our beloved people in tents are suffering though. Please continue supporting these efforts.
Can you give just $10 a month? How about $20 or $50?
Whatever amount you can consistently commit to makes a difference. Set up a monthly donation now: linktr.ee/thesameerproject?u…
Monthly donations allow The Sameer Project to plan ahead, sustain distributions, and make informed decisions about how much food, water, medical care, and other essential assistance we can provide to families in Gaza.
When funding is unpredictable, so is the aid people depend on to survive.
Consistency is solidarity. After more than three years of genocide, Palestinians in Gaza deserve something they can count on.
Commit to a monthly donation today. Even $10 a month helps us build a more reliable lifeline for families who have lost nearly everything.
Make your solidarity consistent. Become a monthly donor through the links: linktr.ee/thesameerproject?u…

Imagine what happens inside the mind of man that declares “actual anti-zionist power” has nothing to do with arming Israel or BDS.

Or maybe people could learn how it does impact them?
We're revising our data pipelines and publishing workflows, including our website. We're setting up a new system that lets people sign up for specific datasets. We hope to have this in place by the end of next month. Folks can sign up here for updates: goodshepherdcollective.org/s…

It's frankly embarrassing listening to those who claim to be educated on the subject, wishing & hoping for a Netanyahu ousting...
Have you learned nothing over the past three (and 78) years??!
It matters not who runs the colonial project. The project itself must be ended.

That is a spot-on comparison.
To those who are saying “yeah but Americans don’t care about genocide” —okay so what is it? Americans don’t care about genocide, but it was important enough to sway the last US presidential election? And US political candidates are changing their rhetoric… for no one?

And this is why we should reject the tendency to frame anti-imperialist solidarity through the lens of self-interest. This argument, that foreign military intervention/violence should be opposed simply because it diverts public funds from domestic healthcare or social programs, is rooted in social-chauvinism.
Genocide is wrong because it is wrong, not because it is expensive for Americans. The longer we allow these disgusting talking points which center US comfort rather than the lives of those enduring atrocities, the longer we will find support for these atrocities

Very annoyed at the people discouraging donating directly to individuals and families. Organizations aren’t being able to operate properly or provide for everyone.
And maybe an organization will be able to feed 100,000 people so yes, DO donate to them, but ALSO to the individuals who need surgeries and medication that the org won’t cover.
The org will feed them perhaps but the org won’t provide the money for rent to keep them sheltered, or the blankets to keep them warm.
So many people and families fall through the cracks and that’s what their individual campaigns are for. Of course it’s an imperfect system and of course it’s not equitable and of course it’s not sustainable, and yet it’s the only option.
So for God’s sake don’t discourage people from donating to individual campaigns.
Yes, do emphasize other actions as well, but don’t make things more difficult for the families and those trying to keep them alive.
