Today is an incredibly difficult day for five friends of mine Ay Audits, Steven Cridland, Dec Lea, Ash Denzil, The patriotic Biker who have been arrested in France and are now being taken through the court process.
After spending nearly 24 hours in custody, being held in cells and facing an extremely difficult experience, they are now going straight into court. Itโs hard to comprehend how exhausting, frightening and overwhelming this must be, particularly when they have had so little time to process everything that has happened.
Today, Iโm hoping the proceedings are fair, that their voices are properly heard, that they have access to the legal support they need and that they are treated with the respect every person deserves.

At around 3am this morning, I filmed a migrant boat launching from a Belgian beach, just across the French border, heading towards the UK.
Belgian authorities were present and appeared to watch as the boat departed.
Iโve spent months documenting crossings from France, but this is the first time Iโve captured a launch from Belgium.
As far as Iโm aware, this could be the first time such a launch has been caught on camera.
Iโm sharing the full footage so people can see exactly what happened and draw their own conclusions.
