happy 20th anniversary to resident evil 4! we'll always cherish all the thrilling, often stupid, memories. what's that? you don't remember these scenes? well you must have forgotten. it has been 20 years. go play otome edition if you need a refresher.
Yeah internal polling is saying that Johnson is no longer gonna be the speaker on January 3rd 2027 and he's trying to wishcast away the fact that he will preside over the largest Republican house lost since 1974

Good morning. We are six days away from ending the second Donald Trump term and making him the ultimate lame duck. Let’s finish strong in every state!
[sees a 383k vote deficit] HOLY COW GUYS WE ARE IN A GREAT POSITION COMPARED TO 2022 WHEN WE LOST A SENATE SEAT BY 5
HOLY COW
HOLY COW
NEW Pennsylvania Returned Ballots
🟦 629,099
🟥 243,338
Republicans are only 9,902 returned ballots away from beating our 2022 numbers (253,240).
I can tell you objectively that we are going into Election Day in a better position than 4 years ago.
RETURN YOUR BALLOTS!
81,850 unreturned
It's really not. Talarico has a 16-point advantage with indies, who are the bulk of people in that no-primary group. As long as that is true, the race is Talarico's to lose.
The thing about a Hail Mary for elections is that politicians have little control over whether anyone even perceives the throw, especially this close to an election. You need time for enthusiasm to propagate and what exactly would drive up R enthusiasm at this hour?

You Can See Everything is as brilliant as advertised.
Like an "anti-documentary". As the only new things I learned about Elizabeth Holmes is how big her husband's hog is and that he's an unhinged grifter.
She's even more of an enigma. 5/5, Nathan did it again.
In 2018, in a D+8 environment, Paxton only outran a random D by 2.5 pts. His polling average was +5. Cruz outran Beto, a much buzzier candidate, by the same amount despite winning by 16 in 2012. In an environment even worse than that, against a D running better than Beto... lol.
It's an Echelon poll so take with a grain of salt but I don't think it makes a lot of sense for Bottoms to be trailing Ossoff so much unless she is absolutely cratering with white D voters. Imo it's more likely Echelon is hedging on races where it still thinks Rs can win.
Very simple; the people saying "republicans are outperforming" are liars who are pushing a line as a grift. An honest look at the data and polling makes clear that they're gonna have the worst midterm in decades.

"You Can See Everything is a film about the tension between two modes of deception. Holmes uses deceit to tell big lies, and Fielder uses conceit to tell strange truths. The film ends with a strangely moving shot of them playing together in the ocean. Maybe this is just another joke, with the documentarian drowning the last morsels of his reliability as a narrator. Or maybe, in the end, there’s something honest happening in the water, as two masters of artifice see in each other that rarest thing: an unerring commitment to the bit."
