The Leaders of the 1966 Coup are Majors Kaduna and Adewale Ademoyega both of who are documented loyalists of Awolowo.
The 1966 Coup was the Awolowo Coup. 4 Yorubas participated in that coup and in his book “Why We Struck” - Adewale admits it was to make Awolowo President.

I do have one small concern; why have you elevated the status of Yoruba literacy?
You’ve place them 3rd position at the expense of our Ibibio friends.
Let’s be guided please 😂🫵
While Yorubas cling to the last generation, Igbos have produced current authors of global repute. The days of Achebe vs Soyinka was laced with tribalism yet it was interesting as it pushed the two icons to greater hights.
Today Igbos are the sole leader at the top while Yorubas grasp to the straw in the world of academia, is there any more indication of academic decline in Yorubaland than that today none of their authors of this generation can rival Chimamanda Adichie.
For a third most educated tribe in Nigeria, it won’t be surprising if at some point they realize they have no competition with the No 1 which is AlaIgbo.
