🚨A Florida woman who is affiliated with the Republican Party is facing a felony charge after investigators say home surveillance footage caught her engaging in sexual activity with her family’s dog. Malia Elizabeth Nummerdor, 38, of Punta Gorda, was arrested Tuesday by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of sexual activity involving animals, a second-degree felony. The investigation opened after detectives learned of social media posts alleging the abuse. Investigators say they obtained sworn statements and surveillance video to back it up. During questioning, Nummerdor reportedly confirmed she was the person in the footage and that the dog was the family pet, though she denied anything sexual happened and couldn’t give investigators a consistent explanation for what the video showed. She then requested an attorney and the interview ended. Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell didn’t hold back, saying he was “at a loss for words” over the case, adding he doesn’t understand how anyone could smile for a mugshot after an arrest this disturbing. Nummerdor is being held on $35,000 bond. Florida’s voter file lists her as affiliated with the Republican Party in Charlotte County. She also got a shoutout from a “TRUMP SUPPORTERS FROM FLORIDA” page in 2024 during Trump’s most recent president run. Since the story broke, she appears to have scrubbed and renamed her Facebook profile.
