LFG! That's some nice and intuitive DevEx in @isographlabs
could claude yolo a review agent? No, turns out I need barnum-circus.github.io/ for any semblance of reliability
my agents have decided to start calling me by my first name ("open questions for Rob"), which is odd. I prefer just "Open questions"

๐จ MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: YouTube will start prioritizing original content and reducing re-uploads (RIP clipping)
YouTube has just announced one of the most impactful changes to its short-form algorithm. Its recommendation systems (the algorithm) will start to further prioritize original content and reduce the reach of content re-uploaded from other creators without adding anything of your own.
They highlight this shift toward originality, where channels with primarily re-uploaded content will see less distribution within the Shorts feed.
It also seems like theyโre really trying to put the focus on content with real value, while highlighting that YouTube doesnโt want as many โminor technical editsโ or โtemplate-basedโ changes. Which is basically all that clipping was in this industry.
Overall, while this will piss off some people whose entire careers were built on the premise of other peopleโs content (mostly clippers), the change itself is amazing and will finally address the overall quality issue weโve been seeing.

the first time a president died in office, there was a crisis over whether โthe Sameโ in this bit of the Constitution meant โthe said Officeโ or โthe Powers and Duties ofโ it. but arguably, it could refer to โhis Deathโ, meaning that if the president dies, we have to kill the VP
Hey @CitiBikeNYC please offer a mode where I'm never asked whether I want full boost (I do) and where I don't have to pay per ride. The extra friction is extremely annoying.

I have never seen more shady patterns than when attempting to cancel @dropbox. Shame shame
Literally insane. There is no step in which there is a clear "Yes I want to cancel". The fucking "yes I want to cancel" option is "take me back to dropbox." WTF?
Someone in the EU or CA should sue. Absolutely insane.
Not to mention the "ARE YOU SHORT ON SPACE???" interstitials are really disingenuous when I am using ~1% of my total storage.
Shady stuff.
