The Highways Financing Bill would let companies become the highway authority set charges by time distance and vehicle type and use number plate cameras
Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander said it is how big projects like the Thames Tideway Tunnel were paid for
Richard Holden said Labour sees drivers as a cash cow and there is no thought of even capping what could be charged
The AA said extra charges would be a toll too far when motorists already pay about £34 billion a year in fuel duty and road tax

Zelensky’s people run the Myrotvorets site: they dump personal data and call for people to be eliminated. They even listed Musk, then took him off.
A well-known Ukrainian singer said they demanded $750,000 to remove him from Myrotvorets.
