Excited to see @AMD join @cloudera's #EVOLVE26 event series as a Global Sponsor. It's great to see industry leaders come together to help make EVOLVE a place for learning, collaboration, and conversations about what's next for AI and data. shorturl.at/RdOCK
Always interesting to see how organizations are putting data and AI to work in the real world.
The 2026 Cloudera Data Impact Awards highlight some great examples of customers tackling real challenges with data and AI. Take a look: bit.ly/48fQZM1 sprou.tt/1ZZAWWd4OtH
Looking forward to seeing @cloudera back at the Veterans Race of Remembrance this year, in support of this endurance race and its mission to support veteran recovery. 🏎️

Do you want to get into Local AI but don't know where to start?
Join me on Friday!
I'll give practical steps to get you started running local models on whatever hardware you have ✌️
On Friday I am going live in a Space to talk about running models on your own computer.
Ep. 01 is a practical starter: the runtime, the models that fit your hardware, and the first steps to get you started.
Friday 06 Nov, 16:00 UTC / 11:00 US Eastern.
What's holding you from running local models today?👇

A little sneak peak into something I am dropping later this week!
Something DGX Spark users will love!
Pretty crazy how much can squeeze out of that lil Nvidia Nano. I am also very impressed with the new object detection capability in minifi c++. The team really did a solid job making sure those were ready for the release. Nano Stream got a bit of improvement too, still wip...
Testing Dashcam Object Detection w/ MiNiFi Object Detection BETA Live Building nitter.cf/i/broadcasts/2LPLveWlZ…
One more session : confirmed ClassifyImage works : brings the dev k8s test kit to Nano with real minifi cpp side by side with java : this will wrap task #535 : task 536 will bring minifis metrics and object and image classifications into Nano Stream as a new overlay : new stream loading 🐟
This took me two sessions. The first was last nite, and it spun off into claude madness 🤯 I bailed the session and went to bed. This morning, I human stear the next steps, start a new session, one live stear in the session and few asks for the final output : 2 images to prove the MiNiFi integration works. 🤖 🚀
Waking up to a flooded florida 🌊 the water in the back yard is at max height and the seawall cant take much more 🙏
Today I am working with minifi c++ on kubernetes to test object detection at the edge. I use k8s to do my dev before this flow will be tested on the Nano.
MiNiFi normaly assumes its deployed on the edge, at a microcontroller level without GPU, but that is an old mentality. Once I get CPU bound process working on the Nano, i will start another chapter for GPU equivalent.
