Nano Stream - minifi java / minifi cpp / gpu / npu / cpu on 4gb Nvidia Nano / Hailo 8

Pretty crazy how much can squeeze out of that lil Nvidia Nano. I am also very impressed with the new object detection capability in minifi c++. The team really did a solid job making sure those were ready for the release. Nano Stream got a bit of improvement too, still wip...

This took me two sessions. The first was last nite, and it spun off into claude madness 🤯 I bailed the session and went to bed. This morning, I human stear the next steps, start a new session, one live stear in the session and few asks for the final output : 2 images to prove the MiNiFi integration works. 🤖 🚀

🏎️ I started on an ai journey a few months ago to build a few ideas. One of them was a flock camera concept requiring streaming video with object detection. In order to do that I needed a portable system not another computer. I settled on the Nvidia Nano Jetson. It took me a very long time to get the machine setup for literally everything else I have used it for. Enter Hailo-8 to solve the original technical hurdle. Credits to @JASONMCNAB for showing me the yolov8s setup 🚀🤖 a few weekends ago watching some old movies. What you see on the architecture below mostly has nothing to do with my normal toolkit (fttb). To get this to run I set out with one goal: use the nano and hailo to run the object detection concept. I didnt expect to do that, do it live on stream, and at same time ship an app. 📺Before the X live stream was up I became owner of : Nano Stream. Its first stream was over 11 hours. 8 of them while i was sleeping. Nano Stream is a very durable X live streaming command line tool with channel source, audio source, loading/loaders. Works great for sorting through this footage, now time to find some higher res for next level testing.
