At this point, it’s basically impossible not to conclude that farm attacks and the vulnerability of farmers are politically convenient for the @MYANC. It simply aligns too well with their land reform agenda, transformationism and rhetoric to believe otherwise.
Remember, farmers are nearly 7x as likely to be murdered during an attack in or near their homes as the general population, and the ANC refuses to lift a finger, calling it “ordinary crime”.

FARM ATTACK: Another South African farmer attacked and brutally tortured on his farm this week.
Cattle farmer, Donovan Marx, from the North West province, had his ears cut off on Wednesday morning during a farm attack.
He was also shot in the shoulder and stabbed (with a sharp object) in the leg.
And, for the umpteenth time, as far as I can determine, not a single article on any English media platform about it. This gross coverage disparity between the Afrikaans and English media when it comes to farm murders is what makes it possible for so many politicians and commentators to get away with their disgusting farm murder denialism.
You know what's even more infuriating? History and research shows, if the victim was black and the torturers were white, we would see this story on every front page and news channel for weeks. Debates, panel discussions, political party statements - the works! The president would even come out and condemn the attack.
Again, I refuse to accept the twisted, psychopathic standard that dismisses a farmer having his ears cut off as "just normal crime."

Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, elected to the Constitutional Tribunal by Tusk's parliamentary majority but NEVER sworn in before the President of Poland, is now being presented on television as the person taking over the duties of the Tribunal's president.
Polish law requires Constitutional Tribunal judges to take their oath before the President. Korwin-Piotrowska instead participated in a ceremony in Parliament, whose legal validity is disputed.
She has now declared the Tribunal's president and vice-president suspended, invoking provisions governing ordinary courts through disputed statutory cross-references.
The Tribunal's existing leadership rejects her judicial status, refuses to recognise the suspension and has denounced the operation as an unlawful coup d'état.
A person whose own authority to serve as a constitutional judge is contested is claiming the power to suspend the leadership of Poland's highest constitutional court.
And all of this is being presented as the restoration of the rule of law.

And the more I look at Europe in 2026, the more I think we should actively listen to him, instead of treating him like a billionaire who tweets too much.
Behind the rockets, the cars and the memes, there's a very simple conviction he's been repeating for years: civilization is not a given. It's a fragile inheritance. And an inheritance can be lost in a single generation.
What is Western civilization? It's the idea that the individual matters. That truth is found through reason and experiment, not by decree. That power must be limited, challenged, reversible. That you have the right to build, to start something, to say no. It's the scientific method, the rule of law, democracy, the industrial revolution. It's what lifted billions of people out of poverty, far beyond the West.
Elon understood something a lot of smart people refuse to see: if this civilization collapses, it's not just "the West" that loses. Humanity loses its greatest engine of progress. No Mars, no abundance, no ambitious future. Just the management of decline.

We've already seen where the dream of total control leads. The 20th century is full of it. It always starts with good intentions, and it always ends in scarcity and silence.
Now, the part that's going to upset people.
I'm done with all the smart guys telling me "Europe is finished, I'm moving to Dubai" or "I'm relocating to Asia."
I get the impulse. But if you think you'll be able to hide, you're fooling yourself.
Ideas don't stop at borders. The rules strangling Europe today will be exported tomorrow. If the center collapses, there's no comfortable periphery. No island. No bunker far enough away.
But don't get me wrong. Refusing to run doesn't mean feeding the machine. You don't feed glucose to a cancer. Don't pour your talent, your taxes and your companies into a system built to cage them. Build where freedom still lets you build. But don't look away. Fight with everything you have for this empire of lies to fall.
You don't exit History with a one-way ticket.

Cattle farmer Donovan Marx, 50, was alone inside his home after his wife Louise had left for work on Wednesday when two men attacked one of his workers in a barn.
The worker was tied up and the robbers then burst into the main farmhouse and shot Mr Marx before stabbing him in the leg.
As he collapsed in a pool of blood, the two men taunted him, held him down and then cut off his ears before slicing them into small bits!
