The Prop G campaign is using safe streets imagery to mislead voters. Sunset streets are safer now than before the park opened.
Destroying park amenities to allow for speeding traffic won’t make neighborhood streets any safer.
Vote No on G to save Sunset Dunes!

Pedestrian safety is public safety!
Last week, a woman and her baby in a stroller were struck by a car at Laguna & Chestnut. Thankfully, neither of them died but it’s a reminder that street design has consequences.
In 2025 alone, 16 people in San Francisco lost their lives after being hit by cars. These deaths are preventable.
Your kid should be able to walk to Marina Middle School without fear of being hit by a car. We have to build streets that prioritize pedestrian safety.
Thank you to @walksf and @streetsforallsf for their advocacy to make our streets safer.

What's the future of bikes and transportation on Market Street?
We're holding a hearing at the Board of Supervisors on Monday, April 27 at 1PM to find out.
In preparation, I went on a bike ride along Market Street with the Market Street Moving Alliance and @sfbike @walksf @StreetsForAllSF to see how it's going today.
We saw so much activity - bikes, scooters, pedestrians - activating the corridor. But we also saw a lot of double parking and autonomous vehicles stopped in crosswalks.
We'll accordingly be asking city departments about these questions at our hearing on Monday - how is the city following through on the Better Market Street plan, what is the future of autonomous vehicles on the corridor, and how will they address illegal double parking and other issues?
Come to the Land Use Committee on Monday, April 27 at 1:30PM to have your voice heard and questions answered!

This is a terrible idea. What city turns a popular park into a failing road?
We're extremely disappointed in Supervisor Wong for jumping to conclusions so quickly and reopening a divisive fight, instead of listening to all sides and charting a more civil path forward.

SFMTA is projecting that they'll build 3 miles of protected bike lanes in the next 18 months in San Francisco, despite skyrocketing travel on bikes and scooters.

Wow.
just heard San Francisco Mayor @DanielLurie say "Public safety also means traffic safety" and sign an executive order to that effect.
Wow.
Proof is in the pudding but has any San Francisco Mayor ever even acknowledged, let alone acted on, the traffic violence epidemic?

Waymo got a ton of attention when they announced 300k monthly SF trips last Fall, but @baywheels had 458k trips in September. Ebikes are the transportation innovation not getting enough attention.

When drivers run red lights🚦, they threaten our lives.
Call @CAgovernor TODAY at (916) 445-2841 and ask him to sign the red light camera bill #SB720. We need hundreds of calls NOW – he will decide on this bill before Monday!
SB 720 bill would create an alternative approach for California cities to implement lifesaving red light cameras that’s more equitable, efficient, and easier for cities to embrace. Learn more at walksf.org/sb720.

Mayor Lurie is deciding who will represent District 4. That decision could determine the future of both Sunset Dunes and Bay Area transit. 🌊🚊
On Monday we sent a letter asking the Mayor to consider his D4 appointment in light of the next year's transit funding measures.
Transit is the backbone of San Francisco.
Without it, all neighborhoods suffer, including the Sunset.
We’re urging Mayor Lurie to appoint a D4 Supervisor who will protect Sunset Dunes AND keep the focus on saving transit, by committing to NOT putting Sunset Dunes on the ballot again next year.
