Struan Murray

The standard of @MLS refereeing is shocking. We won 3-0 last night and the entire stadium was still furious with the ref. I know we need them to play a game, but they make it all about them, no consistency, no game control and worst of all….lazy decision making. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Utterly terrible execution by @EdinburghRugby in the last 10 minutes. Should have had at least one try but for lack of pace on the outside and bad decision making. Threw that one away. Outside backs carry much of that blame. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Who knows what will happen but to have the mid round collapse and then hit that 7 iron on #15 shows some serious balls!!! What say you @Mike_kim714

Blame the ref all you want. He wasn’t very good but it wasn’t his fault. Wasn’t his fault we didn’t execute, or that we showed poor discipline at the wrong times, or that we couldn’t put the game away. Yes, he made a good few mistakes…but this was all on Townsend & his players.

Liverpool are a brilliant team no doubt. But fewer things are more enjoyable than watching them whine and cry. Huge point for Everton.

Trying my hardest to remember when Tom Brady was this bad in a Super Bowl. 🤔 Oh that’s right….he never was.

Blair Kinghorn is a very good player but he has been very poor today. Ireland so much smarter than us at the key positions of 8/9/10.

That’s a terrible half from Scotland and Ireland didn’t even get out of third gear. We look second best everywhere. Ireland look so comfortable. Little bit fearful for this second half.

So many people watching this game, all seeing the @NFL and the “refs” just give the Chiefs every single call. It’s as predictable as could be.

Refereeing/officiating of sport at the highest levels is absolutely terrible. These men and women get paid to do the job….they deserve criticism (not abuse) when they perform poorly!

Said it since Week 1. The @NFL are desperate for the Chiefs to 3-peat. Texans shot themselves in the foot multiple times but damn, every decision goes the way of the Chiefs and Kermit The Frog. To add to ABE…it’s now ABKC

This reeks of the old farts that @willcarling referenced all those years ago. I’m sure @MartinPengelly and his love of nostalgia is happy. 🤣

Great defence, some fantastic attacking. The better team today by some distance I would say. Was a professional performance. Very good win:

Very clever try by the Wallabies. Great imagination and well executed.

Absolutely pulling the Wallabies apart now. That is an absolute belter of a try!!

And right on cue we’ve started to lose a little bit of discipline and had to rescue ourselves at the lineout. Great defence but a stupid penalty to give in the first place. Stay disciplined and the game is there to be taken.

That was a clinical try. We’ve wasted a bunch of opportunities so that was good to see. Need to stay disciplined now and take any chance we get.

That is so smart by the Aussie fullback. He knew what he was doing but was very savvy, braced himself without taking a massive step forward and most likely within the laws. Right decision IMO. Not a penalty no matter how much I wanted it to be.

School in Kirkcudbright, school at Merchi and now the Scotland skipper! Get in there! Congrats Stafford!!
