To commemorate this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day, we’ve been learning about the story of Edie Eger, who teaches us to look for good in everything and find strength in the hardest times. Inspiring lessons for us all in building resilience.

I am truly lucky to have an amazing staff team @SuttonHighGirls An SLT meeting on NYE is definitely not the norm, but we are ready to face the challenges of this term head-on. Thanks @PSHeadSutton @SuttonPrepDH and others not on Twitter. As we approach 2021, I know we are ready!

Stuart Lawrence gave an inspiring talk to our girls earlier this term. This was the inaugural talk as part of a year-long programme of events spearheaded by the Justice, Equality and Fairness committee that we launched during Black History Month. Thank you @sal2nd!

I’m going to show this photo to all my classes next week... It’s of Barack Obama and it was taken in 2009 by Pete Souza, the White House photographer. It shows his heavy editing of a healthcare speech. Love it. All good writing takes time, and lots of it #TeamEnglish

It's been so good to have had live music-making back this term. Thank you to all our musicians, girls & staff, for all your hard work. Great to hear all of Yr6&7 singing together, albeit with the help of technology, in last night's concert! Have a lovely half term everyone @GDST
