Casa Albă a sunat traderii americani să cumpere motorina lui Putin, dar literalmente zero cumpărători au răspuns la telefon.
În panică din cauza prețurilor la combustibil care au explodat chiar înainte de alegerile de la mijloc de mandat, Casa Albă a încheiat pe 9 octombrie un acord cu Kremlinul prin care sunt ocolite interdicțiile de import. Trump se aștepta ca traderii de pe Wall Street să se repeadă la motorina rusească ieftină. În schimb, aceștia au tratat marfa ca pe deșeuri nucleare.
De ce? Pentru că aspectul legal al afacerii le poate fi fatal. Congresul a incriminat în mod explicit importurile de petrol rusesc în 2022.
O scutire pe hârtie din partea Trezoreriei SUA nu are nicio greutate împotriva unei interdicții a Congresului, ceea ce înseamnă că orice comerciant care se atinge de motorina sau benzina rusească riscă închisoare federală și citații din partea Congresului.
Haosul de pe ocean este de un absurd kafkian.
Petrolierul Agioi Fanendes a plecat din Sankt Petersburg cu destinația New York, dar s-a oprit în mijlocul oceanului și așteaptă „noi instrucțiuni”, traducere maritimă pentru „plutim fără țintă pentru că nimeni nu vrea să ne cumpere marfa”.
Restul flotei din umbră a lui Putin nu se simte nici ea mai bine. Talisman este inclus pe lista neagră de Washington și Europa, în timp ce Leruo este interzis în întreaga UE, Marea Britanie și Canada. Specialiștii din energie spun că, fără un singur cumpărător american dispus să riște, motorina rusă respinsă va trebui descărcată în America de Sud la prețuri derizorii, în pierdere.
Planul disperat al Casei Albe pentru a ocoli legea federală, a scădea prețurile la motorină înainte de alegerile din 3 noiembrie și a direcționa bani către Moscova se pare că a eșuat. La fel ca navele din flota fantomă a lui Putin, care rătăcesc pe mări și oceane, fără niciun port unde să acosteze.

If Zelensky Is So Corrupt, Why Can’t Anyone Buy Him? 🇺🇦
I just realized something almost hilarious if it wasn’t very obvious and also real about the whole anti-Zelensky narrative.
For years we have been told that Zelensky is corrupt, illegitimate, a puppet, a billionaire thief, some CIA creation, whatever version happens to be useful that day. And yet somehow Putin, Trump, oligarchs, billionaires and the entire anti-Ukraine political machine still cannot control him.
Think about that contradiction.
Zelensky was elected in 2019 with about 73% of the runoff vote. Ukraine has not held another presidential election because elections are suspended under martial law during Russia’s invasion, something Zelensky has said could change if conditions allow a safe and legal vote. Meanwhile Trump, Elon and others are now openly calling for Ukraine to replace him after Zelensky refused demands to stop attacking Russian energy infrastructure and bend over to them.
And this is where their own propaganda stops making sense. If Zelensky were really as spectacularly corrupt as they claim, why wouldn’t somebody have bought him years ago?
Putin has all the money. Russian oligarchs have money. Western billionaires have money. Elon has more money than all of them. Trump has political power. There are people with enormous financial and geopolitical interests who would benefit from a Ukrainian president willing to make the right deal for them.
If Zelensky were really nothing but a corrupt opportunist, the easiest path imaginable would have been to take the money, make peace with Putin on Putin’s terms, protect himself, become insanely wealthy, powerful and live comfortably ruling the Ukraine and the area as a probably richest dictator on earth.
Instead, Russia invaded, Zelensky stayed, Ukraine kept fighting, and years later these people are still trying to pressure him, discredit him, replace him and convince everyone that he is somehow the problem.
Trump and Elon has now publicly called for Ukraine to get a new president after Zelensky resisted pressure over Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries. Their relationship has deteriorated sharply precisely because Zelensky has continued pursuing policies Washington told him to stop.
So maybe the reason so many powerful men seem absolutely fucking obsessed with Zelensky is much simpler than all the conspiracy theories.
Maybe they hate him because they cannot break him.
Maybe they hate him because they cannot buy him.
Maybe they are simply jealous of him and his amazing courage and integrity.?
And maybe nothing drives men obsessed with power more insane than another man they cannot control.

Was schließen wir daraus?
Schauen wir genauer hin.
Die Frau mit der weißen Strickmütze und der bordeauxroten Jacke sehen wir sowohl auf dem TASS-Foto als auch im Video. Das Foto trägt die TASS-Bildnummer 100160778.

Nur: Am 27. Oktober begann erst die Waffenruhe. Die Zufahrten nach Oleschky sollten entmint werden. Die international begleitete Evakuierung war für den 30. Oktober vorgesehen.
Und nun präsentiert uns TASS eine ältere Dame auf einem russischen Militärbuggy, aufgenommen drei Tage vorher. In der englischen Bildbeschreibung wird sie sogar als Evakuierte bezeichnet.
Hoppla.
Denn die Vereinbarung, die Melania Trump am 23. Oktober so stolz verkündete, sah vor, dass ukrainische und russische Vertreter die humanitäre Operation begleiten. Newsmax sollte sie als angeblich neutraler Beobachter unabhängig dokumentieren. Vor allem aber sollten die Menschen selbst entscheiden können, ob sie in ukrainisch kontrolliertes Gebiet oder nach Russland evakuiert werden wollten.
Am 29. Oktober meldete das ukrainische Zentrum für strategische Kommunikation allerdings bereits Hinweise darauf, dass Russland Menschen aus Oleschky ohne die vereinbarte internationale Kontrolle abtransportiere. Der ukrainische Ombudsmann konnte diese Meldungen zunächst nicht bestätigen.
Und nun haben wir diese Bilder.
Wohin wurde die Frau gebracht? Hat sie selbst entschieden, wohin sie wollte? Waren ukrainische Vertreter anwesend? Wo waren die amerikanischen Beobachter?
Die Bilder beweisen keine Verschleppung. Aber sie dokumentieren einen Transport, der offenbar bereits vor dem vereinbarten Evakuierungstermin stattfand.
Und ausgerechnet die russische Staatspropaganda liefert uns die Bilder dazu.
Melania Trump hatte die Sicherheit der Menschen und eine unabhängige Dokumentation versprochen. Dann sollte sie jetzt erklären, wer am 27. Oktober auf diesem Militärfahrzeug saß, wohin die Menschen gebracht wurden und wer darüber gewacht hat, dass sie tatsächlich eine freie Wahl hatten.
Denn die internationale Öffentlichkeit hat Anspruch auf mehr als ein paar hübsche Pressemitteilungen über die humanitären Großtaten des Kremls und einen Putin, der sich vor Kameras setzt und behauptet, er sei mit der First Lady der Retter dieser Menschen, weil die Ukraine die Straßen vermint haben soll, die er persönlich erst zu Straßen des Todes gemacht hat.
Und vor allem haben die Menschen von Oleschky nach der Überflutung durch die russische Sprengung des Kachowka-Staudamms, nach monatelangem Elend mit nichts als Gras auf dem Teller, ohne Strom und sauberes Wasser, ein Recht darauf, jetzt nicht auch noch als Statisten in Putins nächster Propagandavorstellung missbraucht zu werden.

The Czech Republic has officially criminalized the promotion of communist movements that suppress human rights, placing them on the same legal footing as Nazi movements.
The amendment, signed by President Petr Pavel, explicitly targets anyone who establishes, supports or promotes Nazi, communist or other movements seeking to suppress fundamental freedoms or incite racial, ethnic, religious, national or class hatred.
Offenders face prison sentences ranging from one to five years, with additional provisions addressing the distribution of extremist propaganda and symbols.
The legislation follows decades of debate over the country's communist past. Czechoslovakia endured more than four decades of communist one-party rule, beginning in 1948 and ending with the peaceful Velvet Revolution in 1989.
Supporters, including historians from the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes, argued that communist totalitarianism should be treated as seriously as Nazism under criminal law.

The Oleshky ceasefire is another trap imposed on Ukraine by its russian-American “friends.”
Here’s what raises serious questions:
1. An information blackout. Only Newsmax, a pro-Trump, MAGA-aligned media network, is reportedly allowed on the ground. Ukrainian and independent international journalists have been denied access. Why?
2. Who is overseeing the evacuation on the US side? Mark Beckman, Melania Trump’s private adviser and producer of her film Melania. His professional background is in marketing and entertainment. Why him?
3. russia is using the pause to strengthen its positions. Ukrainian military sources report that building materials, ammunition and military supplies are being delivered to russian forward positions on the left bank of the Kherson region. There are reports that russia is preparing assault operations for November.
4. And where are the people being taken? Oleshky residents are reportedly being evacuated to russia, not to Ukrainian-controlled territory.
This is being presented as a humanitarian operation. But when journalists are denied access, russia gets an opportunity to strengthen its positions, and Ukrainian civilians are taken to the occupying country, one question demands an answer:
Whose interests does this “ceasefire” actually serve?
Ukraine must not be forced to sacrifice its citizens’ safety for someone else’s political show. Humanitarian aid must never become a cover for entrenching an occupation.
But here we are.
