People not knowing Marcus Garvey is the main reason why people don’t understand modern day New York
Marcus Garvey was Jamaican. He built the largest Black mass movement of his era in Harlem. Caribbean and Black American unity is older than the arguments.

Bredda I been telling you all for years. This attack by the PM and Ministers on Jamaicans having an opinion on social media is not normal and should be denounced. How them get up everyday a watch people post and Jamaica want fix?

I am referring to the USA and the elections going on right now. If you feel that any of what I said applies to Jamaica then that would be very telling and you would have to consider why you felt a stone was flung in your direction.

Whether Beenie said it or not the People of jamaica and the diaspora is deeply concerned about the lack of work being done in western Jamaica. You will show and tell us everything else but that .. do better or come out !
We cannot afford to allow false narratives about the Government’s handling of hurricane relief funds to go unchallenged, particularly when these claims are made on international platforms. Such statements have consequences beyond our politics. They can damage Jamaica’s reputation, undermine confidence in our institutions and jeopardise the international support we may need when the next disaster strikes. The world has changed, and international assistance increasingly depends on confidence in the strength, integrity and accountability of our systems. I also recognise that these narratives are rooted in a long-standing perception that “nothing is going on” and that government cannot deliver. For too long, this thinking has shaped how Jamaicans engage with government, creating a culture of distrust and short-term expectations that makes it difficult to pursue the long-term policies necessary for meaningful national transformation. Through programmes such as the New Social Housing Programme, we are working to change that perception by demonstrating that government can deliver meaningful, lasting improvements in people’s lives. But we must also acknowledge that delivery takes too long, and we have a responsibility to improve efficiency, strengthen accountability and consistently show Jamaicans the progress being made. We must change the way we think about government, what we expect of it and what it can achieve. That requires transparency, results and a willingness to challenge deeply entrenched beliefs. The only way we are going to change is if we change our thinking and change our outlook.

Yared you a miss out the fact that TOK are only credited as performers for this track so they really don’t have much say in the clearance dependent on the contract they signed when doing that song for that album/Riddm .. Rn it’s just Tony Kelly and original writers credited
RE: Destin Conrad's "Chi Chi" A sample uses actual audio lifted from an existing sound recording, while an interpolation is a fresh re-recording or re-performance of an underlying musical element (such as a melody, bassline, or lyric) from an earlier song. Sample: Requires two clearances: a master use license (from the owner of the sound recording/label) and a publishing/composition license (from the songwriter/publisher). Interpolation: Requires only one clearance: a publishing/composition license, because no part of the original master recording is used

Ok guys If after a 1 yr we cant complain about recovery efforts WHEN will be a reasonable time ? How long will be too long for people to still be in shelters (from Beryl) ? How long will be too long for under tarpaulin? How much time should we give so we aren't ANTI JAMAICAN?
