📢 Attention everyone! 🚗💙
Introducing "Learn to Drive. Learn CPR" 🎶 An incredible collaboration between the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and the European Driving Schools Association (EFA) to empower young drivers and save lives! 🌍🩺
Cardiac arrest affects over 400,000 people in Europe alone. But did you know that immediate CPR can double or triple survival rates? That's why this initiative is crucial in educating and raising awareness about CPR among drivers💪
With an amazing song and captivating video called Basic Life Support (BLS), the ERC and EFA are taking this message to digital platforms and driving schools. Let's make sure every driver knows how to be a lifesaver! 🎥
Promotional events, local meetings, and theory training screenings will further spread awareness among drivers and riders. Research shows that 90% of drivers receive training from driving schools worldwide, making it a powerful avenue for education📚
The "Learn to Drive. Learn CPR" project has already gained recognition, winning the special edition of the Global Road Safety Film Festival held at the United Nations. 🏆 Now, let's make it even bigger with translations in French, Spanish, and more languages! 🌐
Our survey revealed that in 44% of European countries, citizens are required to undergo BLS courses for certain driving licenses. The ERC and EFA are determined to make these courses mandatory across Europe, increasing the number of potential CPR responders🚦🤝
Support this lifesaving initiative and spread the word about the importance of bystander CPR. Together, we can create a generation of drivers ready to save lives! 🙌💚
