What happened to the striker is absolutely awful but it’s a contact sport. It’s so sad but to call him a “murderer” is ridiculous. I question if the consensus would be different had he been white?
🚨 Jesús Owono's family have reportedly closed ranks around the FC Andorra goalkeeper, who's said to be struggling emotionally following the tragic death of Jesús de Miguel.
Those close to him reportedly say he's taking what happened during the match incredibly hard, blaming himself and getting barely any peace, with his family staying by his side throughout.
This has gone way beyond football. Thinking of both families, and hoping people show some compassion before passing judgement. 🕊️💔

Love to see more of Kendall, but GA is just not flexible enough.

Ooh, I'm a massive Gills fan who lives 14 miles from MK. I'd love an easier journey for home games but would hate for the Gills to be "stolen" like that. It would be heartbreaking. – at Ampthill, England

Well that was a little better.
Gills ended October with a hard-fought away win and ensured that they weren't frightened into dropping points on Halloween.

🎥 REMEMBERING RICHARD GREEN ON A THREE POINT HALLOWEEN
🗓️ 31st October 2026
🏆 League Two
🆚 Shrewsbury Town
🏟️ New Meadow
After last week’s home of horrors that was the perfect riposte, a performance full of endeavour, grit & enough moments of quality to secure all three points.
In fairness to our hosts, they more than played their part in an entertaining encounter as both teams were only intent on winning throughout.
We couldn’t have asked for a better start, Harry Waldock notching his first senior goal inside two minutes before both keepers exchanged saves prior to half time.
The second period followed a similar pattern, and we were pegged back from the spot just before the hour, but could have immediately regained the lead if not for a fine Will Brook save.
We did get ourselves back in front with 10 minutes to play though, Andy Smith tapping home from six yards in front of the away fans to ultimately seal the win.
