This was my original account & why I created it. My girl. My always. For now, as a disabled person, my voice is needed for my community. We are facing far more struggles, demonisation & hate crimes. Please stick around. Will always love the dog content & your pups. Thank you!
I started this account as a tribute to my girl, my always, who I’m lost without. And to share the love I have for dogs with others like yourselves. To support others in their happiness, charity needs, your pet grief, or simply sharing moments of dog joy. Dogs are the best of us.

I don't care what anyone says, no data center is worth the trees, bees, and clean water that it's ruining.

The DWP are a disgrace. Your for profit assessors who cost the taxpayer billions in "services" and millions in botched assessments need to go. Hang your head in shame for what you're doing to disabled people @patmcfaddenmp @stephenctimms
Cut disability benefits for bombs from veterans 27% of veterans have ran out of food, compared to 13% non veterans 2,180 veteran households were homeless or at risk homelessness Nearly half (47%) of veterans with children in their household reported going without essentials such as food in the prior six months. Around 40% of Universal Credit recipients are IN WORK. The benefit tops up poor wages in order for them to survive. Many PIP claimants also work, and the benefit enables them to do so. People in their 20s can be too sick or disabled to work. Simplistic nonsense from Burnham.
'I don't want to see anyone in their 20s on benefits' Andy Burnham insists he does want to cut the welfare bill, in an interview with @DanielHewittITV Watch our ITV Tonight Special, 'Burnham: Inside The First 100 Days' at 1915 on Tuesday 3rd November, ITV 1, ITVX and STV

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the poorest 34 *million* people. The problem is not a pensioner or a young person looking for a job - the problem is wealth inequality. We need a wealth tax. Now.

I 100% stand by this tweet about @JeremyVineOn5 I don’t care about a Liberal pushing back against a rancid right winger. The damage is done, lie spread, fear real. We shouldn’t need a Liberal to pushback because people like Carole should not be given a platform
Carole Malone claims anyone who wants benefits just gets them! She's supposed to be a journalist, yet appears completely unaware of assessments, refusals and the appeals process. Disabled people deserve factual reporting, not lazy stereotypes and misinformation. Perhaps it's time for some better research, Carole! #CaroleMalone #DisabilityRights #PIP #DWP #BenefitClaimants

Instead of welfare cuts, why not stop the £13,043,676 paid in MP's expenses. I'm sure this would help to balance the books. This is just for specific expenses. The total bill is £268,531,000 including staffing etc. I'm sure this could be pared down quite a bit if they tried.

I recently read about a woman who died by suicide while waiting for an ADHD diagnosis. She told her GP that her ADHD symptoms were worsening, her anxiety was rising, her life was falling apart. And it ended up killing her. Ever since, I've had zero time for ADHD 'discourse'.

Gross. Lateral ableism is not a good look. Turning on fellow disabled people will not stop the system of oppression from coming for you eventually.
I have adhd. This is ridiculous. Stop giving stuff away for free. It is not a disability. I do not want free stuff for being a little all over the shop at times 😂😭

Who is funding and coordinating the attack on ADHD as a diagnosis and a disability in the UK at the moment? I believe that there is massive funding and focus on ADHD as a Disorder from some people who have identified ADHD as a problem. To not treat ADHD is going to be costly.

Milo was recently loaned an eye-gaze device which FINALLY gave him a voice! He can choose what he wants, ask for things he needs, talk to his parents, things we take for granted. But he can’t get it on the NHS. If you can donate, please consider Milo! gofundme.com/f/help-give-mil…

Kemi Badenoch claims that a population the size of York has “signed on” to disability benefits and asks why they wouldn’t when “sickness benefits pay more than the minimum wage.” But applications are not awards, and PIP is not an out-of-work benefit. It helps with disability-related costs and can be claimed by people who are working. In the latest quarter, only 34% of normal new PIP claims were awarded, down from 41% a year earlier. A full-time minimum-wage worker earns more than £2,000 a month before tax. A single person over 25 receiving standard Universal Credit and the new lower health element gets around £642 before any housing or household-related support. Disabled people do not choose illness because benefits are more attractive than employment. This is inflammatory rhetoric built on misleading comparisons, and we deserve better from the Leader of the Opposition. #KemiBadenoch #DisabilityRights #PIP #WelfareRhetoric #PoweredByExperience

Oh, I see Jeremy Vine has been inviting people to demonise benefit claimants again. I tell you what, you can come back to me when there are a lot of jobs for all the people who are unable to work to find employment that they can live on. We also need to address the fact that millions of people are not actually unemployed, they just don't get paid a wage for the vital work that they do. I am of course referring to unpaid care is who save the economy billions of pounds a year. Also we have the people they are looking after, many of whom are likely to need either round-the-clock support, or can't be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. Now, I am fully in favour of paying carers a wage for the work that they do, but this doesn't happen because it's presumed that family members should just do it out of love without complaint. Many people, including my parents do indeed do this, but there are people who are simply a breaking point, both financially and emotionally. And before people mention the fact that some carers can go to work and there is scope for them to do so, particularly after the amended Carers Allowance rules come into effect, it's vital to note that many can't work, because they spend ALL their time caring. For example, I can only be left alone in the house for about three hours maximum at a time, and it's absolutely not safe to leave me home at a time when I would normally be in bed (if there was an emergency, such as a fire, there is no way I would be able to escape if I wasn't in my chair at the time) But yeah, the media will probably go along with their simplistic rhetoric because that is so much easier than actually addressing the real issues.

Can we get to 50% today? You wonderful lot managed to get to over 25% yesterday - tweeting, sharing and donating. I know not everyone can afford to donate right now - end of month horrors! - but 440 donations of £5 would do it. Lets keep sharing gofund.me/be104b577 #TeamMilo
OMG - we are 25% of the way there! You really are the best community 🥰
