We’re aware of a video posted by a part-time staffer on his personal social media account commenting about the Michigan Senate race. The comments in it are reprehensible and do not reflect our campaign. We apologize. This staffer is no longer with the campaign.

Is Mayor Bass going to open the LAX people mover to the public before we have figured out why it sometimes explodes?

Mayor Bass said that she was “very confident” that the people mover will be up and running by the end of the year or January. The city was informed two weeks ago that the opening date has been pushed back to February at the earliest. Either the mayor is unaware of what’s going on with one of the largest infrastructure projects in the city (that’s three-years delayed and $1.4 billion over budget) or she’s not being truthful to the people of Los Angeles. Neither is remotely acceptable.

Nithya is currently hearing from Boyle Heights residents who live near the Lineage warehouse disaster and say that the mayor has failed them

I’ve heard so many stories across the city from residents who have gotten shockingly high bills, especially in The Valley. As Mayor, I’ll audit DWP, end their abuse of hidden loopholes to raise rates, ensure reservoirs are filled and hydrants work during fires, and much more:

DWP rates are supposed to be approved by the City Council, but under Mayor Bass, DWP has used a hidden loophole to raise rates without public input.

LADWP utility bills have skyrocketed over 40% under Mayor Bass In 2026, the average LA household pays almost $1000 more per year for water and power than they did when she became mayor.

According to a bombshell report published this morning, these anti-Nithya ads are being illegally funded by shady (and possibly stolen) money. The Professional Manager’s Association had a dead guy signing its checks and was accused of pocketing $3.7 million belonging to another union.
Trouble in LA’s deep state: the union that represents managers in LA city government has listed a dead man as their political committee treasurer for 2+ years and failed to disclose tens of thousands of dollars in political donations. And the union is being sued over alleged “financial irregularities” including $3.7M in unpaid dues In today’s @LAMaterialNews >> lamaterial.com/p/la-managers…

The @californiapost fabricated a story about Nithya they KNEW was false and made up by the LA Police Union. Maybe the California Post should ask the police union why they’re spending $2 million to defund the fire department.

While our immigrant communities are being raided by ICE, the Bass campaign is paying journalists to spread tabloid lies about Nithya...

This week alone, at least 20 immigrants have been detained by ICE in Los Angeles. The Bass campaign has said nothing about that while Angelenos are under attack.

Here’s the truth: Nithya protested against ICE last year and stands up to ICE. She authored LA's Sanctuary City Ordinance. While Mayor Bass cut funding for immigration defense, Nithya and the Council successfully fought to get it restored.

really funny to me that every time Karen bass tries to hit Nithya over something it turns out that her office knew about it and just didn’t do anything
Mayor Bass, call your office! Nithya’s staff alerted your office and city departments about this nuisance property many times and you failed to act.

Look all's fair in love and war, etc. but it's been a little astonishing to see the sitting mayor try to leverage the city's incompetence in doing even basic tasks into attacks on her opponent. You're the chief executive! You control the departments!
If one lot is too much work to get fixed, how do expect voters to trust you to run the city.

When you don’t show up for your district, your constituents suffer the consequences. You can’t be Mayor for all Angelenos if you can’t even deliver for your district and keep your community safe.
