Just a few finishing touches! Hope you and your loved ones are having a great Christmas Eve.
I am putting skepticism and cynicism aside to say bravo and thank you to the January 6 Committee for your hard work, brilliant presentations, and damning conclusions. You have made a tremendous difference. I won't forget, nor will history.

In all this work I do there is one stat which stands out for the power of the story it tells.
Since 1989 of the 46m jobs created in the US 44m have been created under Dem Presidents.
Dems = growth, progress, US success
GOP = recession, decline, failure
It's THE story.
Yes! And it’s been public knowledge for years. Read the great New Yorker piece in this thread!

The Ports to Plains highway will run from Laredo all the way up to North Dakota and into Canada.
This project will bring jobs to Texas and millions of dollars to the state.
A great bipartisan victory!

As a legislator, I don't play politics. I study, listen, and vote my conscience. Those values are absent in Washington today and it's tearing us apart.
I'm running as a Democrat to represent #NC09 in the U.S Congress and finally mend our divided spirits.
A half century ago yesterday, shortly after my 17th birthday, I had a piece published on The NY Times Op-Ed page -- just started the year before, and edited by Harrison Salisbury. It went viral, analog-style. Link here with a Times subscription: nyti.ms/3esYeFa
