Today I made a garbage man laugh by telling him I would litter more for him. Then he said "no don't."

Mayor Bass has shown she is not capable of leading our city through disaster.
In LA’s darkest moments, she’s been missing in action. Our communities have already paid too high a price for her failures.
Four more years is a risk Los Angeles cannot afford.

Nithya's takedown of Bass over her (latest) people-mover screwup is 🔥. Just clear, blunt honesty.
It captures why I so much prefer her to Bass.
Bass sees every problem as a political one, to be ducked, deflected, haggled over in private with local power brokers.
Nithya sees them as technical ones to be understood and fixed with clear, accurate action.
I've seen this for years: when she stood by dedicated Affordable Housing project in her district after Bass abandoned it amid pressure from HOAs (even though they were approved under her own initiative!). Nithya pushed them forward, though even the developer was a political opponent of hers, because she knew LA residents needed the homes and we would never solve our housing problems without them.
We will never solve LA's broken systems unless we have leaders with understanding, vision and courage. We all deserve a city that works. I am proud to vote for one.

The City is making it almost impossible to level up in the Small Business Game. As Mayor, I’ll make sure you have a fighting chance to beat the bureaucratic bosses, and collect the coins our neighborhoods need to power back up.
We’ve already lost gems like Oil Can Harry’s, the Federal, and Un Solo Sol – I’ll do whatever I can to make sure your favorite spot still thrives.

There are 30,000 broken streetlights in LA. It's time we turn the lights back on. It's time for a city that works.

Nothing will change if we elect someone who doesn’t feel our pain at the pump, in the checkout line, or at the doctor’s office to represent us in Washington. Ryan Elijah is running to pad his stock portfolio, not protect our pocketbooks.
