"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." Romans 10:9-10 "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

Abuser alert. Not only is he gaslighting because he knows it wasn’t a general question, but also this supposed Christian man is asking a married Christian woman whom he’s never met about her sex life. Christian men, don’t do this. It’s completely inappropriate. He’d never ask this in front of my husband because he’s not that bold, and he knows any husband worth his salt would knock his teeth back to 1984.

State govt sets the guidelines for homeschooling. They absolutely can restrict, regulate, and even revoke the ability to do so. Leadership matters, and leadership that wants absolute power is virtually inescapable; it touches (and ruins) everything.

I read this a few hours ago and I can’t stop thinking about it: Satan’s goal wasn’t to see Job suffer; Satan’s goal was to see Job sin in his suffering.

BINGO He was sure to hammer their sins , even when they admitted them and was very lacking in getting to them to the next step. It was very performative

Christian ladies: If someone tells you that you can’t disagree with the pastor privately or publicly, that person is an abuser or an enabler of abuse which is just as abusive. Don’t be fooled by men claiming to be Christian telling you that you can’t publicly rebuke someone if you’re a woman.

Yes, I declare publicly that Scott and you are wrong. It is not a sin for a woman to call out a random pastor online for being wrong. He admits he marries unbelievers, but will deny Believers. Imagine marrying unbelievers under the promise of holy matrimony under God where they make a covenant with the God that they do not believe in and then peacocking about it. Lol clowns be publicly clowning today and I’m gonna keep publicly pointing it out.
Once saw a very loud lady attacking the incredibly gentle @tbayly & his brother, pastors who dared call sin out regardless of women’s feelings about things—having once been liberals themselves & who women called to repentance! Notice she declares piblicly that Scott is wrong

Speaking out against pastors who are willing to marry in holy matrimony under God unbelievers but not Believers who are admitting they are sinning and seeking to rectify that with marriage as the Bible states is not a woman taking on a masculine role. Lol go away with your 42 quote post thread. Lol you’re acting like a clown in public.

of the west, where they would have been made to suffer public humiliations for obstinacy in their sin of insisting on taking up masculine roles. If they want to claim to be Christians they can at least shave their heads to be consistent—but we don’t see that from them, either.

Scripture does not say for women to not disagree with pastors publicly. If that were true, then a pastor could stand here and say polygamy is OK. Adultery is OK. And you would have women just stay silent about it. How about you stay silent on the subject since you’re going against scripture. He is not any higher on the Christian food chain than I am. He and I are equally sinners. He has zero authority over me as he is not my husband nor my pastor. We are ALL called to speak out against this legalistic nonsense. That pastor admits to marrying unbelievers in the holy God given covenant of matrimony. So the next time you’re gonna quote tweet a woman and attempt to chastise her for speaking publicly, you better choose a woman who doesn’t know scripture.
I’ve found (online) exactly one woman who has had any sense about this issu—the rest prove feral backbiters who, regardless of instructions to Christian woman, simply must interject publicly & condemn an pastor doing his job to lead to repentance from the *prior* sin.

It’s amazing how all the votes have pretty much been counted and we aren’t waiting weeks and months to call some races like we usually are. Trump must have really done a good job fixing the voting issues. #CreditWhereCreditIsDue

It is good to see so many Christian users of X have stopped doing all the sins that they have repented for. I’m very glad none of them is still struggling with any of the sins for which they truly don’t wanna do anymore, unlike so many of us in this fallen world who still struggle daily with our particular vices that God hates. Indeed, we should all strive to be like these people who never backslide into their sins.

Probably an unpopular opinion. The solution is to marry the couple quickly. Not marrying them does nothing but puff the pastor up with pride. It doesn’t erase the sin. The couple taking the steps to live apart then get married and then move back in together doesn’t erase the sin. Who decides how long they should live apart before this pastor will marry them? We should all be thankful God isn’t waiting on us to stop the multitude of sins we all commit each day in order for us to come to His wedding banquet.

Also I’ll just add that a public official ceremony by a pastor isn’t a biblical requirement by God. It’s a legal thing and can also be considered much like baptism where it’s a public proclamation of the promise you’ve made.

For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that. But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am; but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion. — 1 Corinthians 7:7-9

How quickly the pastor forgets the whole word of God and instead cherry picked it for his own pride, and clicks and likes on X. For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that.
