VERIZON FINALLY COLOCATED AFTER YEARS OF BAD SERVICE!

We know that T-Mobile's new T-Mix plans are a price hike, but just how bad is it?
T-Mix can cost as much as 27% more for a family of 4 compared to before.
Here's a breakdown of the mid-tier and top-tier Experience and T-Mix plans, including all the same perks and new devices.
Postpaid used to be all about the carrier giving the customer everything they had, but at some point, the prices went up while the included features got stripped away.
We saw it with Verizon, and now we're seeing it with T-Mobile.
Let's compare Verizon's 2022 5G Get More plan to the new Simplicity plan. 5G Get More came at a pretty hefty cost of $90/mo for 1 line or $220/mo for a family of 4, but it included every bell and whistle: The best network access. The latest phones. All the perks.
Now, Verizon "simplified" everything by taking those things away from you and making you pay extra to add them back. Here's where that gets wild:
If you configured a comparable setup with new phones included and the same features and benefits as 5G Get More with Simplicity, you're looking at a total of $331.10 A MONTH after factoring in 4 new iPhone 18 Pros with 4 iPhone 15 Pro trade-ins.
That's a difference of $111.10 a month, or $3,999.60 over 3 years. And that's comparing an already expensive previous-generation plan to the current only option.
Obviously, no one would ever pay that. At least, almost anyone. But that's not what it's about. It's about raising prices without raising prices. A company giving you less while charging you the same makes them more money without it feeling like a higher price to you, at least until you wonder where all the features went.
T-Mobile is next with T-Mix. Prices as high as ever, but with included Monopoly money that can go towards stuff that used to be included, except not as much of it. Families can't even get high-end phone promos for each person on the top-tier T-Mix Loaded plan. They won't have enough Picks. And that doesn't even mention the fact that they also won't get any perks unless one or more people doesn't get a phone promo.
I'll have a video out soon about the craziness of T-Mix, but also another one about this new trend of postpaid carriers sneakily making you pay more for less.
I hope these new tmix plans are not marketed as an uncarrier move. T-Mobile has consistently walked back on most uncarrier moves they have made and raised price along with it. Even price lock was clever marketing with smoke and mirrors.
At best “uncarrier” moves are limited time or comes with some kind of catch in the fine print.
Honestly I don’t know why they don’t move on to something else. T-Mobile is a carrier whether they want to admit it or not.
Replying to @mikeddano
@mikeddano So T-Mobile sells Sprints 14mhz of SMR 800mhz spectrum for 600mhz and money, then just two months after the deal closed they sell it to Space X? That’s quite the flip. Grain still owns more spectrum too that is being hoarded with no FCC intervention to force a deployment, lease or sell. Sounds like someone at the @FCC is playing favorites. @SneedTech
Tampa has joined the n66 party on T-Mobile. Same setup as Orlando and Ocala. 15mhz n66 and 10 left for b66. Interesting Gainesville Florida has 20mhz of n66 and 5mhz of b66.

Verizon after a decade of poor service in this area of Belleview Florida has finally colocated with T-Mobile and AT&T. It took 4 months to turn on but is here!! Belleview middle and Belleview High now have service!
T-Mobile Orlando has introduced n66 at 15mhz now mirroring Ocala. 10mhz left for b66 which will eventually join NR for a full 25x25 channel. @CleverIv @jon_bogger @JohnSmith7gug
AT&T upgraded this tower on n441 in Ocala years after T-Mobile and about a year after Verizon colocated on this. Verizon is very low elevation so the trees block it but the speeds are great. Pings not so much. @SneedTech @Techlife32 @CleverIv @NicholasT1979

T-Mobile Fiber local marketing -- truck providing a magenta popsicle, among other frozen treats. Strawberry shortcake flavor? Yes. Pic from 9/6 in Florida was in new Wave7 Research postpaid report, courtesy of @Terrell352, who knows what's going on in telecom in Florida.

AT&T is colocating with T-Mobile and Verizon on I75/44 in Wildwood Florida. Shocked it’s not a 6472 but 6449 and 6419 instead. @JohnSmith7gug @SneedTech @Techlife32 @CleverIv @jon_bogger @SneedTech

I’m an Official Samsung Knight, but this is the kind of shit that I absolutely despise…Let’s NOT try to make things worse than they are just because you don’t particularly like one brand over another.. I been seeing a lot of AI slop.. Let’s all actually buy the product and go into with an OPEN MIND!
