100 years of Pioneer hybrid corn. Over this period, growers have seen yields rise from 60 bushels per acre (3.8t/ha) to 600 bushels per acre (37.7t/ha). David Hula believes we can get too 1000 bushels per acre (62.8t/ha). @pioneerseedsau
Record corn yields have risen 10x in 100 years. David Hula says continued genetic gains, along with a deeper understanding of what's happening underground, could push yield potential far beyond what most farmers expect. agweb.com/news/crops/corn/60…
Corn STRIKE site at Howlong NSW. Some very impressive hybrids. P17822IT is currently commercially available and is a great silage option. Site was sown late but looks fantastic so will be interesting to see what it yields. @pioneerseedsau
As motorists continue to battle service station shock, the agricultural industry is asking one question: why don't we farm more fuel? Most canola grown in Australia is shipped offshore to Europe to be made into biofuel at a time the nation is desperate for its own liquid gold.

Wonder where your taxes are spent? Here's a breakdown based upon last years budget (FY2023-24). Welfare (combined is nearly 41%) and it the highest expense category followed by Health, then Defence.

Fancy a productivity summit run by the govt. How many MPs who represent us have little to zero business experience. It should be a prerequisite to be allowed on a ballot paper. The country is ultimately a business that has a breadth ,
of responsibility. Productivity is no 1
Test run in preparation for sowing of PY520TC canola. TC used for potential Imi residual and Triazine for better control of weeds.Drier than I would like, so will be sitting in the ground for a while. @pioneerseedsau #canola #johndeere #plentyofdust #plant2025

Still in love with this data from 2024 @GRDC Canola Establishment. Grain yield declined by ~0.2t/ha (0r about 4-5%) per week that emergence was delayed after 4 April at Wynarka. The different water amounts or plant numbers established didn't matter - timing trumps density :)

Some visuals, one definitely don't want to see on Ramps, and specifically around an aircraft.
A scene from Vancouver International Airport (YVR), Canada on 09 July where many snakes spilled onto the apron after a box got broken open.
Ground handling staffs were shocked when they saw the snakes suddenly scattered around.
