This upgrade cuts non-refundable storage fees by 99%. We estimate a 60–70% reduction in total gas for quoting txs, making it cheaper for market makers to place, cancel and update orders on Aftermath Perps.
Lower costs make tighter spreads and deeper liquidity more economical. These are meaningful improvements for a fully onchain orderbook.
