Revolut: Europe's most valuable startup ($200B) just showed the world its AI strategy. Every company will end up copying it. At the start of this year, Revolut leaned on the frontier labs. Its 2,000 engineers used Claude Code and Codex, and some burned $1,000 to $10,000 a month each. The bills kept climbing, and the returns weren't there. So Revolut switched its default to an open-source model called GLM. All it needs is GPUs, which it rents from Together AI. The results, by Revolut's own count: - The bill is about a tenth of what it paid OpenAI and Anthropic - Engineers get unlimited tokens instead of spending caps - Coding time is down 60% and lead time is down 70% That's the chart below. Revolut still uses Claude and GPT, but only as "the exception," for the tasks they do best. Everything else runs on open source. So here's the question I keep coming back to: how many use cases can companies really justify sending to frontier models? My answer is very few. Plenty of companies still route everything to OpenAI and Anthropic today. For how long? I think open source ends up handling the vast majority of corporate AI work, and frontier models get a short list of the hardest jobs. That's a problem for labs whose revenue forecasts assume unlimited growth. If you appreciate unpopular takes, follow me @m0xt_ for more.

I think Trump's time is over. A politician that lost big time in his own country will have considerably less power and influence internationally. That's how politics work. Don't see him escalating abroad. Republicans will increasingly want to save their own position.

Don't hold much $BTC but the trend is interesting, the year before the midterms shows a down trend in price, soon after up trend starts. That transition to up after midterms gets faster every cycle

The coming unlocks at $LIT are not irrelevant but I think it's priced in for a big part. Upwards potential is big here. Adding more this weekend.
Tokenization and 24/7 trading perps and stocks is inevitable. I'm adding ethereum:0x232ce3bd40fcd6f80f3d55a522d03f25df784ee2 here.

As crazy as it is, France government doesn't have many choices. They need structural reforms but as soon as they try, all he'll brakes lose. So that leaves them with the only option: increasing taxes.
The craziest law in European history for the internet just got approved. France just voted to tax data BY THE GIGABYTE. Lawmakers approved an amendment charging content providers €0.055 for every gigabyte sent to French internet users. It passed 11-10, despite opposition from the government. In this novel proposal, the amount of data delivered is what gets taxed. Internet providers would measure traffic from content companies, which would then pay the tax. Netflix streams, YouTube videos, cloud services and game downloads all falls within its scope. At the proposed rate, delivering a 100GB game download would generate €5.50 in tax before the applicable caps. That is a charge to the provider, not automatically on the customer’s bill. But the concern is that providers would pass some costs through higher subscriptions or download prices to its consumers. The amendment includes caps tied to revenue: 15% of French turnover or 2% of worldwide turnover. Its authors expect €10 BILLION annually and argue that taxing traffic makes it harder for digital businesses to shift their tax base abroad. France’s proposal targets digital companies, but its eventual impact would depend on how much of the bill reaches consumers.

If AI really is a danger to the world, would you like that to be in closed model companies led by people with a dubious reputation (Musk, Zuckerberg, Altman). Or do you want it to be open and verifiable?
Mistral researcher @Sagar_Vaze argues some of the most serious recent AI cyberattacks came from closed models, not open-source ones: "If you look at the most significant malicious attacks that have happened recently, these have actually been perpetrated not by open weights models, but by closed weights models which have either been jailbroken or, in some cases, during training, escaped their sandbox. In practice, that’s how many of the attacks have been perpetrated." "Defenders trying to shore up their own defenses are having their requests refused by these same providers, because cutting-edge defensive requests look quite similar to offensive ones." "People trying to defend from malicious attacks, often from closed weights models, find they have no recourse but to use an open weights model." "It's critical that there are open weights models of sufficient strength that people can scalably defend their infrastructure." @MistralAI

If in 2026 you still think the legacy banking system is in the best interest of humanity then ask the International Criminal Court in The Hague how that is going. BTW, almost all illegal activities still happen in regular currencies. #BinanceHack #Binance
North Korea just made roughly $3 billion. It's virtually impossible to freeze the stolen assets (except for centralized coins such as Tether). Exhibit 537 why crypto is not good for humanity.

Totaal absurd. Geen deepfake. We worden geregeerd door clowns.

The problem probably is that OKXICE aims to offer tokenized stocks with full shareholder rights under a new U.S. SEC regulatory exemption. Tokenization itself is not the problem.
Wall Street is saying “NO” to MASS TOKENIZATION 26 companies worth ~$13.9 TRILLION have objected to tokenized versions of their shares trading on OKXICE. The full list: 1. Alphabet $GOOGL: $4.13T 2. Microsoft $MSFT: $3.84T 3. Broadcom $AVGO: $1.6T 4. Intel $INTC: $540B 5. Cisco $CSCO: $433B 6. Oracle $ORCL: $405B 7. UnitedHealth $UNH: $339B 8. Caterpillar $CAT: $324B 9. It's not AI that's underwhelming, it's you of course that is too dumb...😂
Unpopular opinion: your results with AI largely depend on how smart you are

Time to close $TSLA short with a nice profit. Will revisit after Q3 results. Tesla is a short. 'Flying' Roadster showed it's not about making real products, only marketing to keep Tesla stock overpriced. People are realizing that now.
Placed a little short on $TSLA Just don't believe that whole Roadster nonsense.
57
Funy fact: the Nethetlands actually has a car builder who makes a flying car. It's allowed in the roads and can actually fly. Doesn't look as gimmicky as tesla but it does work in contrast with the Roadster. pal-v.com/en/press/flydrive-…

The lead #Tesla had over its competitors 10 years ago was astronomical. Now the competition is massive and Tesla is spending precious R&D funds on ‘flying’ cars. Shareholders won’t be pleased. $TSLA is a short
