To clarify, I assume the question being asked was in relation to playing a “bigger” “power” opponent with more resources, stars, etc (based on his comments). Didn’t take it as him disrespecting his opponent, but more so that he’s tired of that line of questioning and has faith in his guys. Too many coaches in his shoes are getting those questions and responding with victim mentality answers rather than confidence that they can compete.

Football aside, it’s so cringeworthy for SDSU’s coach to talk that way sitting in front of equally as many Toyota sponsorship symbols as SDSU symbols. Plus, does buddy have even a modicum of a FUCKING grip? Just go to the campus at San Diego State and see how nice everything is.

The issue is he’s saying too much. He could’ve gotten his point across without all the extra stuff. Keep it short and sweet. To me it looks like he’s trying to convince himself 🤷🏾‍♂️

I like the enthusiasm but I’m of the opinion that you should save the trash talking until after you’ve won. This never looks good after you lose 49–7. And usually the ones who trash talk/big talk the most before the game are the ones who lose the biggest when the weekend is over.
