Folks, it is not true to say that if a Court declared a Finance Act invalid, then the government has no basis for taxation. It is an embarrassment to make such a statement. Why? 1/N

Jeremiah Kioni: We did not have Uhuru Kenyatta as the leader of the Haki coalition, but he will be above those of us who will be in active politics, those of us who believe in the cultural formations of the community. We agreed to too many things that involved the former president. In the Mount Kenya region, we have agreed to come under an umbrella; all the political parties will be under one umbrella led b Uhuru Kenyatta.

In many regards, the United States is recognizing and realizing both the strategic importance of Kenya that has been bestowed upon us by nature of where we are, but also the kind of people and capacity that we have.

Our job is, when America comes and is willing to give us a billion dollars, we take it as long as we are not going to be slaves to them. I have not read anywhere that we are going to be slaves.

Zack Kinuthia: If you read the law, the National Police Service Act, you can't send police out, and that's why, when this was well elaborated in court, President Ruto came together and brought some form of hurried agreement between him and the Prime Minister of Haiti so that they can formalize it. Yet, it does not defeat the standing of the law

Josephine Ojiambo:We will deploy 1,000 police officers to Haiti, but we know back home there has been a lot of human cry about Baringo. The head of state was clear that he has set 3,000 troops and 2,000 more will be deployed shortly. So, he has actually given five times more presence to Baringo than we have to Haiti.
