Jeff Daniels says Jack Nicholson told him on his first day of Terms of Endearment that film is not Broadway, and that is why he shows up ready on take one

Daniels was 28 with one movie behind him, and Nicholson sized him up in a sentence. Plenty of young actors would hear that as a put-down and sulk about it. He heard it as the job description and has been working that way for more than forty years.

The great Norm Macdonald (d. 2021) would have turned 67 today. A true comedian's comedian.
Macdonald never hid his admiration for the legendary Rodney Dangerfield, whom he called his comedy idol. In a 2011 interview, he fondly recalled Dangerfield's 1996 Weekend Update cameo on Saturday Night Live, describing it as one of the highlights of his time on the show. For Macdonald, sharing the desk with his hero was a dream come true.

Another gem Fielder interview is the promo he did with cast of The Night Before: Anthony Mackie, Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Seth Rogen.
Rogen and Fielder were high school classmates in Vancouver and placed 3rd in a national improv competition as a team. This promo best collab since.
