Today, we officially signed a landmark partnership agreement with Sterling Bank! Sterling Bank is committing โ‚ฆ60 million in prizes for the 2027 South East Mathematics & Science Olympiad. In addition, the bank is committing โ‚ฆ24 million to our National Mathematics Quiz, where outstanding students will receive โ‚ฆ1 million in prizes every month. But it gets even better! Our star students will now have access to internship opportunities at Sterling Bank, while winners of the South East Mathematics & Science Olympiad will receive an additional one-year scholarship. What a bank! What a commitment to the future of Nigerian children! We will continue to double down on our efforts to build the greatest workforce in Africa by 2036. We are deliberately investing in the next generation of mathematicians, scientists, engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers. And I have just one request for everyone reading this: Open an account with Sterling Bank. Encourage your family members, friends, and colleagues to bank with Sterling. When a bank makes this level of commitment to the education and future of our children, it deserves our support. This is the kind of corporate investment that can transform a generation. Sterling Bank is not just banking on Nigerians. It is investing in the future of Nigeria. Thank you, Sterling Bank. Our children will remember this investment.

My cousin visited this babe at a place called Atimbo in Calabar. She texted him to come over, eat and spend the night. They had been doing stuff together for about a month while my cousin was in Port Harcourt. So when he returned, she invited him over. He went. Which was a bad idea, because this is something all boys should know: YOU DONโ€™T CRASH AT A WOMANโ€™S PLACE. According to him, they went down. Once. Twice. They finished and started chit chatting. My cousin lay down watching videos on his phone while she was having a snack. He dozed off and slept. His phone was still in his hand, unlocked, looping the same video. This bee+ch took my cousinโ€™s phone and started weeding through it. She saw conversations with some chic who had also been asking him to come to her place the previous week. She landed a hard thunderbolt on his face, and he jumped out of sleep โ€œSo youโ€™re going around every girlโ€™s house in Calabar?โ€ Now, sheโ€™s six years older than him. So naturally, she was very authoritative. โ€œBabe, is that why you slaโ€”?โ€ He said he literally didnโ€™t finish the question before she threw another slap straight into his face. He removed the curtain rod, and she picked up the oscillating standing fan. She threw that fan at him and missed. The fan broke. Then she screamed. The whole compound woke up. Everyone came outside. For context, Atimbo, as we heard, is a very rowdy part of town. Everybody is crazy. Being a victim of jungle justice in a place like this easily ends with a car tyre and plumes of petrol flame. She said he rayped her. My cousinโ€™s hands were tied behind his back, and he was made to sit on the dirty ground. โ€œYou come dis area come raype this girl, abi?โ€ Slaps. Punches. Then the vigilante boys arrived. By this time, my cousin was a pulp. They heard what had happened, picked him up, and called for the girl. She came out crying. โ€œWhen did the boy raype you?โ€ โ€œLike one hour ago.โ€ โ€œHow did it happen?โ€ โ€œHe saw me two weeks ago and followed me in his car. Thatโ€™s how he found my address. Today, he called me that he was outside. I told him to go. He said he just wants to say hi. I opened the door, and he pushed me inside the house and rayped me.โ€ My cousin, barely hanging on for dear life, kept telling them: โ€œCheck my phone.โ€ โ€œBoss, check my phone.โ€ They retrieved his phone from the rubble and he unlocked it with Face ID. He directed them to her chat. They saw over one month of deeply romantic conversations back and forth, plus promises of eating each other up in bed when they met. And then the recent conversation where she told him she had cooked fresh fish melon, and asked him to come over, eat and sleep. The vigilantes went into the kitchen. Truly, there was newly-made fresh fish melon, newly cooked. Two sets of plates, which they had eaten from, in the sink unwashed. They took pictures and videos. They brought my cousin inside and asked him to identify EVERYONE who beat him. He pointed out three people through the window. The guys quietly stepped outside and caught all three. Everyone else ran. By this time, our relations had arrived They told that bee+ch and the vigilantes that they were taking her to the hospital for the allegation of raype to be properly investigated. She drew the vigilantes into her room and said she didnโ€™t want to go anywhere and begged them to help her. According to her, she was just angry that my cousin was talking to other girls. Read that again. SHE SAID SHE WAS ANGRY BECAUSE HE WAS TALKING TO OTHER GIRLS. My cousin's side has contacted the girlโ€™s parents and their own lawyer. They have put together the evidence available, including screenshots, pictures, videos, voice recordings and other relevant material. The phone conversations, the invitation, the food, the circumstances of the incident, the injuries on the boy and the accounts of what happened are all part of the evidence being assembled. After reviewing the situation,

Today, with our team of lawyers at the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja. These brilliant lawyers appeared free of any charges for the case against MTN Nigeria, Airtel Nigeria, Glo World, FCCPC, and DStv. They were led by Ogbaga Ogba Immanuel. Before 8 AM this morning we were at the court to officially begin the case. Unfortunately, the court adjourned until 15th of November. On the 18th, we will be there and we will continue to talk about what these telecoms are doing to Nigerians and also continue the legal challenges, until the relevant authorities put an end to the open fraud these big corporations are committing against Nigerians. Our case is simple: If I buy a 30-day data plan and use it heavily, the network tells me my data has been exhausted after just a few days. Their justification is simple: youโ€™ve consumed everything you paid for. Fair enough. But if I use the same data sparingly and still have a balance on the 30th day, the remaining data suddenly expires. The justification now changes: your subscription has reached its validity period. So which principle is actually governing the transaction? If the argument is that I am being charged based on usage, then why should unused data expire at all? I havenโ€™t consumed what I paid for. If the argument is that I paid for 30 days of access, then why is the data allowed to run out before those 30 days are over? Shouldnโ€™t I continue to have access until the agreed expiration date? The industry appears to switch between two contradictory principles, depending on which one benefits the company at that particular moment. -When heavy usage favors the network, they say: โ€œYou used it all.โ€ -When light usage favors the customer, they say: โ€œTime is up.โ€ The customer loses under both systems. This inconsistency becomes even more obvious when you compare it with airtime. Your airtime does not disappear simply because 30 days have passed. It remains yours until you actually spend it. The network does not wake up one morning and confiscate your remaining airtime because a calendar date has arrived. Why then should paid data be treated differently? The principle should be consistent. If a data bundle has a fixed expiration date, then the purchased volume should remain available until that date, regardless of how quickly or slowly it is used. Conversely, if the network insists that data can be completely exhausted at any time based solely on consumption, then there is no logical basis for imposing an expiry date on any unused balance. Once I have paid for it, what I have not consumed should remain mine until I consume it. You cannot simultaneously tell customers: โ€œYour data can finish before the validity period because usage matters,โ€ and then turn around and say, โ€œYour remaining data has expired because the validity period matters.โ€ Those are two different charging philosophies. Switching between them depending on which one increases company revenue is not a coherent billing principle โ€” it is a contradiction. The question is simple: When consumers pay for data, are they buying a quantity of data, or are they buying time? If the answer is data, then unused data should never expire. If the answer is time, then the purchased data should remain available throughout that entire period, regardless of consumption patterns. The current system attempts to have it both ways, and in every scenario, the consumer bears the loss. And this is why we have gone to court. In South Africa right now, the regulator ICASA has ordered MTN and Vodacom to stop letting data expire. New rules say unused data, voice and SMS must roll over automatically, at no extra cost, once the bundle's time is up. MTN and Vodacom did not comply quietly. They took ICASA to court to try to block it. They are facing fines of about R5 million each for non compliance. That's about N410 Million. That is the real story. A regulator with teeth forcing

UPDATE ON THE DOG GIST. The guy was actually a customer. He ordered about three wigs worth over โ‚ฆ600k, paid โ‚ฆ400k upfront, and agreed to pay the outstanding โ‚ฆ200k when I delivered the wigs to him personally so I could earn his trust and all the online shenanigans. Since I knew the area he directed me where he lived, I decided to handle the delivery myself. When I arrived, I met three giant dogs roaming freely around his compound. I called him and asked him to come out and restrain them so I could safely deliver his order. Instead, he told me to walk straight and not run because the dogs wouldnโ€™t bite. I wasn't comfortable with that, so I turned around and left. What happened next was even more upsetting. He called me and accused me of being petty. He insisted that the dogs were just an excuse because I never wanted to deliver his order in the first place. He made me feel like I was being unserious over a business transaction simply because I refused to walk past three unrestrained dogs. I sell wigs for a living. I'm not ready to risk my life to prove that I'm serious about my business, of not my balance I would've sent my rider I got home, requested his account details, and refunded the โ‚ฆ400k he had paid. I wonโ€™t mention his name or tag him. But honestly, it hurt that someone who trusted me enough to pay โ‚ฆ400k for wigs could turn around and accuse me of being petty for prioritising my safety.

Not everyone can/ will afford this. Don't make look like it's cheap, we need the functionality of our basic amenities, especially power in both cities and rural settlements. Have sympathy for the ones in trenches. Having said that, congratulations ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽŠ. Nepa will still exist!
The first day I fixed solar in my house, I felt so powerful. When the lights, the AC and fridge came on at the same time, I almost had an orgasm ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿคฃ That night, I stayed up in my parlour watching my large television, even though I didn't have any interest in the movie I was watching ๐Ÿ˜’ I stayed awake till dawn. In the morning, I asked my domestic staff to go and pump our water with the solar. She said, "But ma, the tank is filled" I gave her the bombastic side eye ๐Ÿง "My friend, go and do as I say. No be you go tell me how to enjoy my solar" Everyone in my household began to laugh ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ Wetin concern me? They can laugh all they want, I am celebrating my win. It took me two whole days to finally sleep after fixing my solar ๐Ÿ˜ซ When I finally woke up after twelve hours of sleep, I permanently disconnected NEPA light forever. Very soon, PHED will become like NITEL and Water Board in Nigeria. Mark today's date.
