As a cowboys fan, today showed me that Jerry Jones is and will forever be the only thing stopping us from winning a SB. The worst thing that happened to this franchise was him winning a ring without Jimmy Johnson. That validated every decision he’s ever made in the last 30 years because “he knows best”. And he’s a stubborn old man that won’t change. We are screwed.
The institutional corruption in this city/county/state cannot be overstated.
Denied my right to vote locally
I showed up to vote today. I'm a candidate on the ballot. They told me I had to drive to Norwalk to vote in person. (35 miles from Santa Monica).
Not because of my registration. They said all candidates have to vote there. This is incorrect.
Elections Code 14310 is clear. If they can't confirm you on the spot, you get a provisional ballot. They must offer it. They didn't.
The LA County representative was uneducated in this process. This is the organization we deal with. This is why people don't want to run for office. This is why people don't want to vote. LA County's organization is absolutely atrocious.
I'm still voting. You should too.
