Two police forces, Met Police and Hampshire Police, are investigating ITV and their reporters for possible criminal offences against Reform UK

Richard Tice claims two police forces “are investigating ITV and their reporters for possible criminal offences against Reform UK”. The public record doesn’t support that.
Both forces have only confirmed they are assessing or reviewing complaints that Reform UK itself made, which is routine triage of any report and not a formal investigation.
He also merges the two forces into one story. The electoral allegations sit with Hampshire, while the Met’s matter reportedly doesn’t involve electoral offences at all.
The phrase “offences against Reform UK” is odd too, since the canvassing complaint is that ITV paid reporters to campaign for Reform, not against it.
Finally, “they will have to answer to the police, courts and Electoral Commission” presents outcomes as settled when nothing has been established and ITV denies wrongdoing.
You cannot trust a word these increasingly desperate chances say.
Any updates on when the multiple investigations into @reformparty_uk LTD and @Nigel_Farage will be concluded
Oh and are your taxes up to date DICK?
PS
those journalists from the FREE PRESS were acting in the public interest
Good luck on getting a conviction DICK
Richard, you’re rather skipping over how the police became involved in the first place.
Reform reported ITV and its journalists to them.
Hampshire Police is reviewing the allegations you submitted.
The Met is assessing your complaint and hasn’t even decided whether to open a full investigation.
They didn’t independently watch the documentary, spot obvious criminality, and knock on ITV’s door.
You complained. They’re assessing your complaint.
Yet you’re now pointing to that assessment as though it independently validates the allegations you made in the first place.
It doesn’t.
And “they will have to answer to the courts” is getting well ahead of events. Before anyone answers to a court, police must establish sufficient evidence of an offence, and prosecutors must decide there’s a case to bring.
If that happens, fine. Let the evidence be tested.
Until then, these remain Reform’s allegations — not facts.
Tice, bet you're dying to see if the police investigate why 80% of reform's donations come from overseas! Do these include Russian donors?
