I would have sent them to prison personally ๐
Linh Luu and Kevin Le processed more than $50,000 in payments to help someone in Vietnam illegally move wildlife items to and from Oregon, according to court documents.
The trafficked items included lion teeth, a tiger pelt and a rhino horn. Authorities say the rhino horn was disguised as a household decoration to evade customs.
Lions, tigers and black and white rhinoceroses are protected under the Endangered Species Act.
The couple were sentenced to three years of probation and fined $10,000 each.

Nature is not a resource.
Itโs the operating system of life.
When we destroy forests, wetlands, and oceans, we delete our own survival code.

Cat and @marksandspencer would be doing more good for the planet and the people if they fed people the wild fish that you are pelletising to feed factory farmed #ScottishSalmon. The maths doesn't work, the entire planet is struggling because of this model of food production.
Here is another delicious #Scottishsalmon recipe alongside our focus this month highlighting the nutritional benefits of #salmon.
Cat uses Scottish Sea Farms fillets from @marksandspencer to create this easy to prepare dish.

SIAPA YANG BERGELIMANG HARTA DI ATAS PENDERITAANNYAโ๏ธ๐ฆง

So happy to see rain finally falling in this part of South Kalimantan. I hope it helps bring the fires under control, gives the exhausted firefighters some relief and, most importantly, gives the wildlife and animals caught up in the fires a chance to survive โค๏ธ

Why are peatlands burning?
Indonesiaโs estimated 24.2 million hectares of peatland are vulnerable to fire, with 16.4 million hectares degraded and at risk. The primary cause is industrial-scale plantations for timber, pulp and paper, rice paddies and palm oil. To cultivate these lands, Indonesia drains peatlands with extensive canal networks stretching about 285,000 kilometres. This drainage leads to water flowing into rivers or the sea, leaving the dried peatlands susceptible to burning, particularly during severe El Niรฑo years that bring drought to Indonesia.
