Theres a lot of moorland outside Sheffield if youre looking for red deer ๐Ÿ˜‚

So cool to find a herd of wild Red Deer on moors 10 minutes outside #Sheffield in fading light. Its incredible to have these wild places so close to one of UKs major cities. We need these places for wildlife and people. We need cities themselves to become wilder #wildSheffield

I would have sent them to prison personally ๐Ÿ‘‡ Linh Luu and Kevin Le processed more than $50,000 in payments to help someone in Vietnam illegally move wildlife items to and from Oregon, according to court documents. The trafficked items included lion teeth, a tiger pelt and a rhino horn. Authorities say the rhino horn was disguised as a household decoration to evade customs. Lions, tigers and black and white rhinoceroses are protected under the Endangered Species Act. The couple were sentenced to three years of probation and fined $10,000 each. wbtv.com/2026/10/27/couple-sโ€ฆ

Nature is not a resource. Itโ€™s the operating system of life. When we destroy forests, wetlands, and oceans, we delete our own survival code. Protect ecosystems = protect ourselves. #Biodiversity #NatureBasedSolutions

Cat and @marksandspencer would be doing more good for the planet and the people if they fed people the wild fish that you are pelletising to feed factory farmed #ScottishSalmon. The maths doesn't work, the entire planet is struggling because of this model of food production.
Here is another delicious #Scottishsalmon recipe alongside our focus this month highlighting the nutritional benefits of #salmon. Cat uses Scottish Sea Farms fillets from @marksandspencer to create this easy to prepare dish.

You 'd think as a society we'd have all agreed by now this kind of abuse of the natural world is totally unacceptable. Sadly not. Some businesses think otherwise putting profit before compassion. Totally despicable.

"Witnessing such a young elephant lose its life to trophy hunting is a painful reminder of why we cannot allow this to continue.Together, let's demand stricter regulations and an immediate ban on trophy hunting. Our wildlife deserves better. #BanTrophyHuntingNow"

Please support this important work. Ostriches are incredible birds we share the planet with. They should not be treated like this. Ostriches can live for decades. In the fashion industry these birds die at 12 months old. Take action now: peta.asia/1dd (via @PETAAsia)

So happy to see rain finally falling in this part of South Kalimantan. I hope it helps bring the fires under control, gives the exhausted firefighters some relief and, most importantly, gives the wildlife and animals caught up in the fires a chance to survive โค๏ธ ๐Ÿ“ Astambul Subdistrict, Banjar Regency

Birds singing outside mating season will do this to maintain a territory. Robins for example will sing during winter and both males and females will do this. I wonder if this applies to wrens?

A dull evening for it no wind or rain tho, an increase in nos of birds from last week, despite it being reasonably still the birds came in early & went to roost really early a long time before sunset unusual perhaps they wanted to be settled before the storms that were predicted

Love your video Jane. Yes maybe they did roost early due to approaching storms. Birds are very tuned to changing weather patterns.

Huge victory for wildlife in Lebanon! ๐Ÿšจ Our teams have dismantled over 63,000 mยฒ of illegal bird nets this autumn, saving an estimated 60,000 migratory birds as a result. 200+ birds rescued + 165 mist-nets dismantled on our latest mission alone! Huge thanks to @LebISF ๐Ÿซก ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
