10 years ago today, @jeffholden, @MarkMooreNASA, and I published the @Uber Elevate White Paper. We asked a simple question: could a two-hour drive from San Francisco to Silicon Valley become a 15-minute flight? Last week, Archer’s Midnight flew over that same Bay Area. A decade later, an entirely new industry has emerged, with manufacturers, airlines, airports, cities and infrastructure partners investing in its future. Grateful to everyone who believed early, and excited for what @flyarcher will build over the next decade.

Great job to the crew of @united flight 1775 from IAD to ORD! Their communications with passengers and flight attendants and focus on #safety during turbulence was exceptional… the best I’ve ever heard. $JOBY the Dubai airport vertiport is built for up to 170,000 passengers a year it's finished and sitting right by DXB with its own Metro stop, and it's set up for 42,000 aircraft movements a year off just two pads the route they keep quoting is DXB to Palm Jumeirah. about 12 minutes in the air, and Dubai's transport authority reckons around 45 in a car Dubai Marina is the next one going up, then the Palm and Dubai Mall hard to call air taxis a someday thing when the building's already standing
