"The apprenticeship levy was a good idea in principle, but needs to be implemented in different ways. If it isn’t, it will be seen as just another tax."
True words from @JamesTCobbler on the need for reform of the apprenticeship levy.

We are working hard to reduce our plastic use in our business, but there maybe some times when you can't avoid having one of our bags.
So we made it easier for you to reuse these!

Fantastic story from @JackTwigg4 who was struggling to find work after being in prison. "Timpson offered me a trainee role which changed my life. Today I've been told from April 12th I'm officially a branch manager with my own shop!!" 🙌 @JamesTCobbler

#Timpsons have repaired my loved 1960’s Omega wristwatch at a competitive price AND gone the extra mile by delivering as the shop is closed. No charge for this. Thank you Alan from #Timpsons Edinburgh and well done @JamesTCobbler for running a company with that kind of ethos.

Have gone to my local Timpson shop 3 times lately, (Swiney way Toton, Nottm), for services like new watch batteries fitted, keys cut, workboot laces etc. Served by 3 different people, all were so friendly and really helpful. Would thoroughly recommend. #timpson @JamesTCobbler

Just want to say how brilliant one of your area managers were this week tracking down 3items sent for dry cleaning last week. There was a delay because of lockdown but he went out of his way to collect them & take them back to store. Professional polite & went out his way to help
