Every brand in this niche, I've watched your ads.
I know your hooks.
I know your offers.
I know where you're weak.
I'm coming for all of you.
One by one.
Ai can copywrite your ads.
But it cannot copywrite the research behind them.
You can make 100 ads and they all fail.
You can make 1 ad and it scales more than 100 ads.
This is why research beats AI 7 days a week and twice on a sunday.
I pray to god more people use ai for market research.
If you do.
It's game over 🐑

Did you spot the goat?
That's me.
Did you spot the sheeps?
That's my competition.
BAAAAAA👅
Nice.
How many booked calls did it get?
We had a video get 4.7 million views in a month, and bigger channels are noticing.
Channels with 900k, 1.5m, and 1.6m subscribers are starting to “model us.”
This is outlier theory in action.
It’s where you look at what’s working on YouTube now, then you “model it” for your own voice, brand, and POV. This is the number one way to come up with video topics.
But the problem with this is you’re always one step behind.
You’re looking for what’s validated in the market before you do it yourself. This means you’re always looking at what someone else has done as your source of inspiration. Your entire strategy, and mindset, becomes reliant on someone else winning first.
But people enjoy what’s new, unique, and remarkable.
That’s why I’ve always pushed myself to publish creative and original concepts. I’ve “modeled” elements of videos before and crushed it, but we have a very specific way of doing it. It’s why I also believe original video ideation beats outlier theory in the coming decade.
It’s admittedly a lot harder to do, and it takes a lot more creative risk, but the upside is tremendously higher.
That upside can look like 4.7 million views on a single video in a month.
I’m proud to see that I only joined this industry ~2 years ago and the biggest channels in our space are watching the clients I manage.
Time to keep going 🙏
Handwritten copy will slow your progress down.
Once you remember all the main frameworks, stop doing it.
Handwritten copy is used to slow your brain down so you can think more clearly.
You need reps after reps after reps.
That's it.
Instead of handwriting copy.
Use a journal and write down your journey as a creative strategist (mon-sat).
Don't read what you wrote.
Just write and leave it.
When it comes to sunday you're going to read what you wrote in your journal.
You will learn more from your experiences inside that journal than writing handwritten copy.
🤔 hmm let me think
"Ohh yh yh, i understand why that ad failed, it wasn't the hook, it was because the subtitles were to small in the video"
So wake tf up.
Grow a pair.
And put more reps than a prostitute.
The only difference will be a prostitute will contract HIV after many reps.
You will contract MRR after after many reps.
Comprade?
Good👍
Holy fuck.
This window of opportunity will be insane for creative strategists.
Make ya fuckin move guys.
In 3 years time we don't know what will happen to creative strategists.
This is your only opportunity to start signing $5k/m clients and print.
You can easily make $15k/m with just 3 clients.
If you can't sign clients on october 26th.
You are genuinely one dumb fuck.
One of the most underrated life skills is being able to see something strange and simply move on #̢̛ͥ̀̽̽ͨ̌̓͆̇̀̽ͦͨͫͯ̏̎̇̈̚͜҉̕͢͏͡҉̸̶̛͢͡҉̵̨̭̳̘̹̫͔͖̜̠͖̫̲̖̱̤̻̖͉͢͞͡ͅͅ͏̸̷̢͑̊̀̐ͣͭͭ̉͂ͨ̽͒̊̎͛ͪ̊̎ͩͧ̀͝͠͠͏̸̵̵̷̵
I would not worry about ai.
Taking over creative strategy.
I'll you why.
The most useful skill is the 'click'.
That is ai giving you the best ad ideas and what idea will click inside of your mind.
And that click in your brain turns turns out to be a winning ad.
Basically you need to havr judgement so good that customers refuse to scroll past your ad.
You master the 'click'.
Everything else will shape up really well.
Eugene shwartz wasn't great at copywriting.
He was great at understanding the "ah ha!" moment (the click).
You've got a good few years before ai becomes a threat.
By then, just stack up your money and build your own ecombrand by using the cashflow from your CS role.
You can do this.
The sacrifice will be worth it.
I promise you.
If you want to be a great creative strategist.
Start journaling your life everyday.
Write it down.
When i mean journaling i mean writing it down on a notebook with a pen on how your day went.
This is called psychoanalysis.
It's going to sound pretty scary what i will say next.
But you will find out what your like as a person.
You will start seeing one big pattern.
You will see why your ads performed well.
You will will see why your ads failed.
I promise you with my hand on my heart.
Let god be my witness.
If you start to journal everyday,
No creative strategist has a chance with you.
When you read what you wrote last week on your journal.
All your answers to success is written there.
Mate just fuck off.
What are you on about?
Because I completely agree with you.
Your the first person to call out this bullshit 🫵
A lot of these ecom founders are fucking delusional.
What Shaun is basically saying that making a lot of sales in ecom does not mean you are keeping any money.
Most brand owners think their ads are doing massive numbers on paper.
But after they pay for ad costs, product costs, shipping, card fees, and returns, their bank accounts technically go into the minuses.
Their basically fucked.
While these big revenue numbers might look cool on the dashboard.
But when you take into consideration that these expenses eat everything up, you are just working for free while losing cash.
You should just get a rope and hang yourself at this point.
Shaun understands this game like no one else 🎲

Going more deeper into
- hypnosis
- neuroplasticity
- Storytelling
Direct response is only one part of the equation.
Pure direct response is not a skill.
It's only a CTA.
Every piece of copy has multiple meanings and skills.
Neuroplasticity is used to rewire an unaware audience into a most aware audience.
Hypnosis is used to trap loopholes inside the minds of the customers and covince them.
Storytelling hides neuroplasticity and hypnosis under the shape of storytelling.
Direct response only works after these 3 have worked together.
The sale should be your end goal.
Your first goal should be to stop the scroll for every line.
Creative strategy is 80% strategy 20% creativity.
I don't believe that a course will help you become a better creative strategist.
Because if that was the case, than everybody taking a CS course would do really well.
Look, courses just help you with the fundamentals.
What actually moves the needle is implementation.
What makes you really good is just load of reps.
What makes you a animal is just spending 4 hours a day researching (TikTok, Spy tools, Instagram ,Reddit).
What really makes you exceptional at creative strategy is finding your own way at doing things.
There's no magic bullet.
Nobody can save you.
What's demotivating is not landing any clients.
That's a terrible feeling.
You're sitting there on your phone and laptop and you're reading this tweet.
You also are reading other tweets of people.
You look at them and think fuck me, how tf are they landing clients.
"I have no use to society and i'm a bum".
This is why i am telling you without being another sellout.
Join @ecomuniversity
Ecomuniversity is not a course.
Anyone who says that deserves to get slapped. No cap.
@karlocreates is a down to earth and genuine guy.
He's never sold his soul for being a "day in the life miami dropshipper".
I have seen this guy on discord and 8 hours later i jump back on, he's still on there working so fucking hard.
I'm not even talking about ecomuniversity.
He's either writing ads or he's on calls with his team.
This guy is a gorilla locked in a cage.
I have spoken to him before 1 to 1.
He showed me something which i don't want to say to much on here.
But the amount of brands desperate looking for a good creative strategist and video editors didn't match the amount of people who are inside ecomuniversity.
That's insane.
Because the ones who sign clients inside ecomuniversity, watch all the videos and simply take action.
They take action by doing the ad bounty campaigns.
They are putting in reps after reps after reps.
And people think it's luck when they sign a client.
Now think of this for a second...
Why tf would a brand want to sign you??
1st of all you have no fucking experience.
2nd of all you have nobody giving you feedback.
3rd of all no brand will take a fucking risk on you.
Karlo is not some chump.
Brand's respect him and his agency.
Move into them circles and get closer to these 6,7,8 and 9 figure brands.
Cold emails.
Upwork.
Twitter.
There all a fucking waste of time if you're a beginner.
Cold emails simply suck if you're a beginner. No brand owner is going to reply simple as.
Upwork you need reviews and 90% of the people getting the clients are 'top rated' by upwork.
Twitter your cold DM's will simply not get through to the brand owner. If twitter see's your account not as a priority, it will show up in the "These message requests may be spam or lower priority" section of the DMs for the brand owners. You've just wasted your time.
Ecomuniversity you join live weekly calls, apply for jobs inside with brand owners that trust karlo, join the adbounty program and get paid if your ad is the winner.
You also get live feedback.
You also build a portofolio.
You can piggybank of karlo's name.
I don't have really much to say.
But most of you deserve to be in a 9-5.
The life path should not be to get rich.
It should be to get good.
Don't be disheartened by not achieving
'100k/per month'.
Numbers are meaningless.
You have a nice car. You still die.
You have a big house. You still die.
You have a better life. You still die.
"But you only live once my brother".
Yh for 70-80 years.
What will you enjoy then?
The graveyard for enternity?
We all get buried in the same patch of mud.
Focus on things that are a priority.
Give your clients 100% effort.
Don't work when your excited.
Work when your bored and feel like quitting.
Always prepare for war.
You're either in the battle or your feeding the cattle.
Pick one and double down.
Your choice.
PLEASE do not...
Write copy from scratch.
Writing copy from scratch is like becoming a professional boxer without training.
Like tf? Cmon man.
You must write the entire outer frame from scratch.
Make a list of your:
ICP
Topic
Research
Desire
Concept
Angle
Conclusion
Brain storm this and write all this down seperately.
Than you assemble all of this into a piece of copy (Hook, Body, CTA).
Than you run these words into a paid ad.
What your customers will read is the inner frame.
In there POV.
You just assembled all of the outer frame into a piece of copy to match the assembly of their inner frame (desires, angles, concept etc).
That's all.
Not speed, just timing.
Research beats power and concept beats speed all day of the week.
