Found some more late era G1 Italian promo ads tonight while going through some more Topolino magazines. As its a Euro magazine it seems to have had promo ads all the way till G2.

Winning an election is easier than it looks: all you have to do is convince a bunch of different groups that you will use power to achieve their desires. 1/

Staff member: "Never seen it this bad. It’s important people understand how bad it is. Imagine being the patient who has waited in an A&E corridor for 91 hours. That’s 4 days! Then they might be boarded (so no room, no toilet no privacy) in a corridor on a ward."
🚨 While Govt talks about elective waiting times, remember thousands are experiencing truly awful emergency care right now. Below is from Royal Liverpool Hospital today - it has activated "full capacity" alert - longest wait for a bed in A&E is 91 hours!! 28 patients on corridor

At the risk of sounding like a broken record... 1. Lockdown is an extreme response. There should only have been one. 2. The fact that there was >1 is due to policy failure and meddling from eejit GBD types, PRE-VACCINE🤬💔 3. Kids are NOT invulnerable. thetimes.com/article/5a939c7…

It's a bit too heavy-handed, imo. The scene needs some rewrites, and we can save the on-the-nose metaphors for later in the season.

If you are unwell with any winter virus or COVID-19, staying at home to recover is usually the best option. Doing that also helps reduce transmission in the community. If you do need to go into an indoor setting, a well-fitting mask can help protect others around you. (1/2)

When people get sick they can't even conceive of the idea they have been failed by their governments and public health because capitalists have done such a bang up job of convincing everyone all the problems are individually created and individually solved

This is such important messaging from @RoyLilley ⬇️ Even after all the evidence from the @covidinquiryuk, NOTHING has been done to ensure patients & healthcare workers are adequately protected from AIRBORNE pathogens in hospitals.
Anna Jones, "The quad-demic.. Covid.. Flu.. RSV.. Norovirus.. Some hospitals have reintroduced mask mandates to reduce the spread of infections" Roy Lilley, "It's been very bad.. Hospitals are chock-A-block.. The NHS is having a really bad time.. Most of these viruses are airborne.. There's little on wearing masks" @RoyLilley "The UKHSA's messaging has been on handwashing which is important but this is not how to fight these airborne viruses" "I don't know why we've been so slow to encourage people to wear masks and ventilate their rooms" "Masks and ventilation are the two things you need to do.. It seems to me the chickens are coming home to roost" "We're also behind Sweden, Denmark other countries with vaccinations, they're around 80%, we're at 40%" Anna Jones, "During the covid pandemic we got used to masks and ventilating.. Why aren't people taking up vaccinations?.. Is it a sense of putting all that behind us: we don't want to think about the pandemic any more?" Roy Lilley, "People think: I've done covid, not going to do that again.. Government seems unwilling to push masking, ventilation - they are such an important part of not spreading it" "We've also stopped offering vaccinations to 50-64 age group.. It's the fact that they have families and they'll spread it to their families.. And kids in school as well" "The NHS is chock-a-block right now... It's a super spreading time of year.. If the NHS is struggling now, I hate to think what it's going to be like in the second week of January"

In 2015 electricity demand in the US fell for the fifth time in eight years. Forecasters said it was the start of a trend. AI changed everything. Electricity demand is now so out of control Exxon is building new gas plants not connected to the grid solely to feed data centres

COVID conscious folks, this is the message. We'll do our part, consistently, relentlessly. We'll prove with our example that it is the only way out of this mess. We'll protect ourselves and our loved ones, because there is no other option for those who cherish health and life.

99% of the British public have no idea what a Special Economic Zone is. It's high time they knew the truth about what is happening to UK infrastructure behind the constant distractions of MSM and government propaganda. An SEZ is a designated region that has economic regulations separate from the host country, primarily designed to attract foreign economic investment. The EU has 82 SEZs, but the difference between EU SEZs and UK SEZs comes down to the legal and illegal distribution of State aid. State aid is public money and it is illegal for govts of member states to give this money to companies purely for the pursuit of profits without contributing back to local infrastructure. europarl.europa.eu/thinktank… If you read the EU Commission website on State aid and SEZs, it clearly says that the EU Parliament stresses that State aid should support ecological transformation and foster the development of services, knowledge, and infrastructure rather than providing support to specific companies. Brexit meant the UK immediately defaulted to WTO rules, Sunak and Truss turbocharged the resurrection of 74 SEZs because of Brexit, up until that point SEZs were being phased out because they previously came up against...EU rules on State aid. Labour MPs, Mayors, councillors, Lords, and Baronesses signed off with Sunak and Shanker Singham on the free zones as board members of the Tories nationwide SEZs/Freeports consortia. Here we are with Labour announcing more SEZs and more deregulation to come. Did you vote for this? Do you recall seeing anything in Labour's manifesto about SEZs and Freeports? The UK's SEZs represent a deregulatory race to the bottom Here's a link to a thread I posted all about WTO and why nitter.cf/EuropeanPowell/status/… WTO is seeking to privatize essential public services such as education, health care, energy and water. The WTO’s General Agreement on Trade in Services, or GATS has a list of +160 threatened services. Ring any bells people? Isn't Brexit wonderful? SEZs carve out entire regions of a host country to install 'localised freedoms' this entails govts handing over governing powers to corporations who can 'self-regulate' inside the zones. Think of the private water companies track record on profiteering from disaster and apply that metric to all services you can think of, mending roads, education, schools, police, rubbish collections, NHS, fire services, parks, libraries and so on. Know that something called ISDS, Investor-State Dispute Settlement is often embedded in SEZs contracts with corporations, especially foreign ones, this allows them to bypass domestic courts of sovereign nations and sue Govts for billions should that Govt take issue with a product that may poison consumers, or for pollution industrial. All 74 UK SEZs and 12 Freeports contain secondary legislation, meaning zero Parliamentary scrutiny. ISDS was written into all CPTPP Free Trade Deals. nitter.cf/EuropeanPowell/status/… All UK SEZs and Freeports give tax breaks to corporations for 10 years and are licensed for a quarter of a century. Now do you understand why @Keir_Starmer says no rejoining the EU, the Single Market and Customs Union with no Freedom of Movement? Can you please read and RT this post? I think this is beyond serious now, the UK is turning into a rogue state that has willingly sold its sovereignty to foreign capital. Zone Fever has arrived by stealth, the MSM refuses to investigate. I am one voice, a volunteer who in his free time is researching to expose what is clearly a corporate coup instrumented by the UK duopoly. nitter.cf/EuropeanPowell/status/…
Replying to @implausibleblog
99% have no idea what a Special Economic Zone or a Freeport is, or that there are 74 deregulated SEZs and 12 Freeports being turbocharged for installation right after Brexit. People don't know that Labour MPs, Mayors, councillors, Lords, and Baronesses were active board members of Sunak and Truss's nationwide SEZs/Freeports consortia who signed off on these corporate carve-outs that are actually tax havens for the asset classes, including Blackrock who are now in partnership with Prime Minister Morgan McSweeney and his sidekick Keir Starmer. People also have no idea that State aid (which is public money) is funding companies setting up in the 74 SEZs under WTO rules to the tune of £11 billion 840 million, that's £160 million per SEZ, which BTW is illegal in the EU, why? Because the EU Parliament stresses that State aid should support ecological transformation and foster the development of services, knowledge, and infrastructure rather than providing support to specific companies. europarl.europa.eu/thinktank… Lastly, those wonderful post-Brexit Free Trade deals known as CPTPP contain Investor-State Dispute (ISDS) clauses in them, which allows foreign companies to sue the UK Govt for billions should they take issue with any dodgy products exported to the UK. ISDS was set up in 1966 by The World Bank, it is a secretive corporate justice court that can bypass a country's domestic courts and sovereignty. The ISDS board has 3 arbitrators, none of whom have a law degree. 👇🏻 nitter.cf/EuropeanPowell/status/…
