After 12 years, Mike Butler is signing off from tastylive.
He started out exactly where a lot of you are. A viewer, trying to figure out how options worked.
His parting advice is pure Mikey: live life like a long call option. Go talk to your gym crush. Apply for the job you’ll never get. Take the trip with no itinerary. Some of it expires worthless. Some of it doesn’t.

This morning into the up move I bought in some of the downside risk and sold some upside risk (legged into a super bull) VIX down -15% and SPX up ~1%. If it reverses ill scalp out of the long put and short call.
