In Oct 1991, @stubutchart & I returned from a day-trip to Scilly at midnight & immediately car-jacked a birding acquaintance to take us to see the Stoke Nutcracker. It performed shamelessly at point-blank range - just like today's Norfolk bird, a cool 35 years later.
