If the U.S. Navy can take a civilian off the street and train them to operate a nuclear submarine in under three years, Amazon can train an American for a tech seat in the same window. Every H-1B renewal is a confession. The job was never temporary. The company had years to recruit, hire, or train a citizen. It renewed the visa instead. There is no shortage of American labor. That is a preference for lower pay and the compliance that comes from hiring VISA labor from a trillion dollar company with record profits. Dump the renewal path. Hire and train Americans. They Don't Work For You. If you trained your replacement or watched a renewal lock a seat that should have opened, say so in the comments. Like share and bookmark this. It's crazy beyond belief that laid of H-1Bs from foreign countries are competing with American workers for the few jobs still open in white collar world. It's common knowledge that job postings are getting 1,000 + applications in days. DHS has to end it or America explodes.
Big change coming for H-1B? DHS is moving to eliminate the 60-day grace period that lets laid-off H-1B workers remain in the U.S. while searching for another sponsor. Lose the job. Lose the sponsor. Lose the status. That is much closer to how a temporary employer-sponsored visa was always supposed to work. H-1B was never meant to become an open-ended job-search visa. news.bloomberglaw.com/daily-…

🚨 Anthony Fauci literally wrote in his diary Covid was only a 0.2% fatality rate Anthony Fauci is confronted over writing in his diary that Covid 19 was essentially just the flu but then and locked down for a global pandemic and mandated vaccines “Dr. Fauci, you admitted in your own diary that COVID was nothing more than a flu — Are you ever going to admit that you killed millions of people through your poison shots? — When are you going to take responsibility for your mishandling of COVID Dr. Fauci?“ Here is exactly what was written in Anthony Fauci’s diary “acting like a bad influenza in its transmissibility” “and that the case fatality rate was “more like 0.2-0.3% rather than 2.0%.” It’s time to arrest Anthony Fauci for crimes against humanity He literally wrote that Covid only had a 0.2% fatally rate and then tried everything possible to force everyone to get these experimental dangerous vaccines

It seems like a good time to re-share the trailer for "Generation Covid", the documentary I started to make in 2022 with @AndrewJamesFilm. It is focused on the harms to children from prolonged school closures but covers everything - the censorship, forced masking, vaxx mandates and the journalists who failed to do their jobs. And so much more. The film will come out in the Fall. We have distribution. More on that in the weeks to come. Please watch and share.

Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration. More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸

Beginning in 2014, prestige industries decided they urgently needed to diversify. They didn’t purge established Boomers. Instead, they did everything possible to avoid hiring white millennial men. This is the story of a generation derailed by DEI. compactmag.com/article/the-l…

A nation in which one administration can allow millions of unvetted illegal migrants into the country, but requires that a court vet each deportation decision in an individually adjudicated case will soon lose the values our democratic system was intended to preserve.

Funny you should ask, I've been investigating the fraud in the F-1 Student Visa system too. It's just as big of a rabbit hole as the H-1B stuff and the two are very interconnected. Buckle up because this one is something. Here's the game. Students from India fake their undergraduate degrees and just apply straight to Masters programs. The reasons for this relate to H-1B reqs and other things but also because colleges have gone full woke and stupidly don't have any way to verify the undergraduate certificates. So they just accept them most of the time. Canada is much worse btw, they have actual diploma mills with like 80k Indian students. Once the student has been accepted for their masters the fun part begins. They pay people with masters degrees in India to do the work for them and they have people within the masters programs themselves who are complicit (that whole nepotism thing again) to help them. This means they can skate through the masters program without getting caught. While they are "at school" they drive for uber/doordash for money. Once they "graduate" and finish their masters they are now here illegally so it's time to defraud the H-1B system. Enter the Indian H-1B consultants. The grift is basically this. The employee is a "subcontractor" working for the consulting firm and being subcontracted out to one of their clients. The problem is they don't have a Visa. So the consulting firm just fakes an H-1B Visa. Since it's the consulting firm's job to check, the company is none the wiser that they are actually using illegal labor. Obviously the "contractor" has no idea what they are doing so this work is also outsourced back to someone in India that the H-1B consultant has set up. The payment is made to the consulting firm and the worker is paid under the table. From what I've been told these are very predatory agreements so it usually means the worker has to still drive uber etc. Once the first contract is finished. They now have real experience to put on their resume with a real reference and everything. So they begin the process of actually applying for their H-1B. The consultant once again manages the whole process, commits a ton of fraud to get through the lottery system. Finds a company who needs a permanent IT hire. Company then sponsors the candidate and voila. They've committed like 10 instances of fraud but the person is now legit, has an H-1B and can work in the US. Maybe we should rethink that whole "staple a green card to every diploma" idea.

Did you know that the state government is one of the largest H-1B visa applicants in North Carolina via the UNC system? UNC members made over 500 visa applications in 2023, with an average base salary of $91,757.71 Most common job title: Assistant Professor

Read this thread. Included in H1B are accountants, and entry-level PR jobs for $43K. It’s a lie that these are jobs Americans couldn’t fill. For truly exceptional talent we already have the O-1 visa program.
The average H1B visa holder is a “computer systems engineer” at Cognizant making less than 100k I’m sorry, this is not “top tier talent we can’t compete without” At best, this is replacing jobs for unemployed US citizens graduating fresh from CS programs At worst, outsourcing

1. I led the drafting of legislation in the Trump ‘45 White House to create a new legal immigration framework. I saw firsthand what happens when ANY visa reform is proposed: executives from the biggest multinationals and lobbyists from all kinds of industries are banging on the door, demanding to keep what they have. 2. What they have is a tangled morass of visa classes that are carve-outs, handouts, and special favors to particular industries, bought and paid for through decades of lobbying feckless members of Congress and presidential administrations. Industries lobby for the foreign workers they claim to “need,” and then they get a visa class carve-out, which they protect (and seek to expand) at all costs. 3. And there are enormous costs for our nation - costs that fall on the American worker with devastating consequences. The statistics bear that out: job gains go to foreign-born workers while American workers post net job losses. I also know this firsthand because I grew up a working class kid, watching my father (and by extension, our family) suffer from unfair foreign labor competition. 4. For too long, Americans have been largely unaware of the source of these problems because the policies are designed to be too complicated and are made largely invisible to public scrutiny. I’m glad the right is having an open debate about legal immigration. It is past time. 5. To be clear, the difference between O1Bs and H1Bs matters in this debate, for example, because these visas are intended to accomplish very different goals and are entirely different in scale, BUT both visa classes are rife with abuse. (Plenty of Reggaeton stars and anti-American athletes enter the U.S. on O-1 visas.) Essentially ALL visa classes are abused. Again, that’s because these things exist to serve special interests on one side of the labor market (and it’s not the side of the American worker). 6. The debate can’t be confined to a single industry - it’s about Big Tech, Big Ag, tourism and hospitality, transportation (airlines, trucking), the media & sports entertainment complex (yes, the NFL and MLB have their own special visa classes and their own special treatment by DHS and State) and many many others. They all want special visas to import cheap and convenient foreign labor. Even the roofing industry is now seeking its own special visa class. And all of these special classes get expanded over time, allowing the American worker to be flooded with foreign competitors for no reason other than labor savings for employers. 7. I, like many Americans, voted for a sealed border and an immigration moratorium. Americans need to retake control of our immigration system — how many are coming in, for what reasons, and for how long. One question absent from our current system: how does this individual immigrant benefit the American nation and her people? No more blanket exemptions or economic rationales. Immigration is a regime-based question, as both Hamilton and Jefferson wrote on extensively, and our system should reflect that Americans must also demand meaningful investment in assimilation and integration requirements for legal immigrants here already.
This is why some find this discussion frustrating. Elon is right about the problem. Others are right that the solution is flawed. We ended our farm system, we lost our bench. BIG TECH did this. Now they want more H-1B’s for their self-inflicted wound.

Another vaccine still under EUA, which shouldn’t be possible as that’s predicated on no other options for a disease. The FDA has approved both Paxlovid and now Remdisivir for Covid. Why are we still falling for the liability semantic dodges for vaccines?
The U.S. FDA has granted Emergency Use Authorization for Novavax’s COVID-19 vaccine, Adjuvanted (2023-2024 Formula) to prevent COVID-19 in individuals aged 12 and older.
