There’s been a crisis in masculinity brewing for decades. Women’s traditional roles have changed, but against a backdrop of empowering narratives guide-posting the way to new modes of self-regard. Men’s have changed, have been replaced with nothing, and now it’s getting weird.
I’ll probably lose followers for this, but I just don’t get it.
I feel like men who idolize Trump emasculate themselves. It’s like little boys who want to wear superhero capes.
